Andy Cohen Says He’s “On A Lot Of Dating Sites”

Andy Cohen likes to stay busy. The Bravo super executive and host of Watch What Happens Lives certainly has his hands full these days. Between keeping the Real Housewives dynasty afloat and raising two kids, a love life might not be practical. But that doesn’t mean he can’t have fun with it.

At the 2022 NBCUniversal upfront, Andy told Page Six about his penchant for browsing. Said Andy, “I’m on a lot of dating sites.” He added, “I really use them more as video games. I use them more as I’m home killing time. Like, ‘This is fun to look at.’ It’s more fun than playing Scrabble online, let me say that.” Is Andy not aware of a free app called…Instagram? You can look all kinds of eye candy without the monthly fee. Just saying.

But to each their own and Andy has to use his limited time wisely. He admitted that he’s been home more since the recent arrival of his daughter, Lucy Cohen. In an adorable Instagram post, Andy announced her arrival on April 29th. She joined big brother Ben Cohen, who is 3. Andy gushed, “The baby’s great. So cute. She looks just like Ben, which is exciting. I’m not getting a ton of sleep, as you can probably see. I have help, of course, but that doesn’t mean anything. My son wakes me up earlier and earlier every day, so it’s chaotic.”

Speaking of chaotic, Real Housewives is no doubt in a transition period with fans. After years and years of watching, some franchises are becoming stale. Case in point the last season of Real Housewives of New York. Back in March, Andy made the surprising announcement that RHONY would be broken up into two series. One would be a (likely) fresh cast and reboot of the RHONY that we know and love. The other would be a RHONY Legacy series, featuring past housewives that would likely entertain longterm fans who have been watching from the beginning.

But in April, a source close to the show said producers were having a hard time finding new housewives that check all the boxes. Regardless, Andy remains optimistic about the changing climate of casting. He explained, “That’s the challenge of producing the show in 2022. Listen, every woman on those shows is cast because they’re outspoken and dramatic and they’re fun to watch and you see what happens. That’s the ride we’re all on.”
