Southern Charm Midseason Trailer Shows Season 9 Drama: Taylor Ann Green in Shep Rose’ Bed

Whatever went down in the first half of Southern Charm Season 9, was not resolved. There was no real closure, and now the drama is spilling into the second half of the season. And coming back with an exponential vengeance.

Mainly, that the full truth about Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green’s hook-up has yet to be exposed. But when it does, Olivia Flowers is comforted by co-star Venita Aspen.

Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo discuss relationship plans, and Madison LeCroy considers having a baby with Brett Randle. It’s a case study of how part of the cast is moving forward with their lives and maturing, and the likes of Austen and Shep Rose are stuck in some stunted state which is perfect for reality TV.

Shep is wary of “Single Taylor”

People got exclusive access to the Southern Charm mid-season trailer. In a major highlight, the cast goes on a luxury getaway together to Jamaica. In between all the fun in the sun, drama is going down.

Shep and Taylor wake up in bed together, with the former calling his ex-girlfriend, “Miss Kissing Bandit last night.”

According to Shep, “Single Taylor” is “dangerous” to be around. But that doesn’t stop newbie JT Thomas from professing his adoration. In one clip he tells Taylor, “I love you. I would marry you tomorrow.”

Taylor is still causing heartbreak for her friend Olivia. At one unfortunate dinner, she is seen shouting at Olivia, “Do you want me to say that he f—ed me?” She responds, “That is what happened.”

Shep confronts Austen again over the hook-up with Taylor. “You don’t give a f— about anyone except for yourself,” he said at one point.

Shep tries to make a run for it …

This foursome of friends still has some healing to do. In one clip, Shep is again trying to escape his surroundings. “I have to leave town. I feel trapped,” he tells Whitney Sudler-Smith.

In other matters, Madison gushes about her fertility plans to Patricia Altschul. “I would love to have a baby,” she stated. “But I remember bedrest. That’s nowhere to be.”

Craig teases a marriage proposal with Paige by having her try on engagement rings. “Let’s put a ring on it,” he said in the clip. It’s a more promising show than when he spoke to her of his hopes to have a “wife and family,” and she reacted with an “ewww” face.

In a very appropriate ending to the trailer, Craig teases, “A lot of people say that conspiracy theories are dangerous, but knowing the truth is never dangerous.”
