In the opening sequence of Vanderpump Rules Season 11, we got a sneak peek into the long-awaited sandwich shop, Something About Her. Despite the sandwich shop not being open, this season’s intro shows Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix posed glamorously inside their business. They’re standing in front of a table of sandwiches while Ariana holds a teacup.
Of course, we were excited to have a glimpse of what Something About Her has to offer. The name of the restaurant certainly doesn’t reveal much about its menu, so we’ve been curious to see what the ladies have been cooking up.
Unfortunately, everything about the setup in the opening sequence was fake. They had us fooled. According to The Sun, the sandwiches weren’t even theirs.
A sandwich shop with no sandwiches
A few months ago, we saw a teaser of the Season 11 intro in a TikTok filmed by a fan who spotted production. If you squint, you can definitely tell that it looks like a bunch of actors, but a source close to production just confirmed that they hired extras to film this moment. Everything was fake, all the way down to the sandwiches.
The insider said, “They also got food catered from another local business, so the sandwiches they filmed are not their own.”
Despite what the opening sequence on VPR might suggest, there’s no opening date planned for Something About Her. The website doesn’t include a menu or even a description of the type of food they plan on serving. Right now, it’s just being used as an online merch store.
According to the ladies, there’s been a myriad of reasons for the restaurant not opening. First, they were delayed by the city. Then, they said they were trying to make updates to their outdoor dining area. Most recently, they said the health department is making them redo their flooring.
We all have our fingers crossed that Something About Her will be open for business soon. They’ve already poured a ton of money into it. For now, the closest thing we have is this 2-second glimpse in the opening sequence with someone else’s sandwiches.
