At the People’s Choice Awards on February 21, Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney spoke about the reported “love triangle” with her ex, Tom Schwartz.
E! News interviewer and actress-extraordinaire, Laverne Cox, congratulated the former SUR server for being on the “number one show on cable.” Really? Is that true? That’s actually kind of sad if it is.
When Laverne asks about the apparent love triangle shown in the trailer, Katie answers, “Yeah. With my ex-husband, just like every woman’s dream, right?” Not only that, but I wouldn’t call Schwartz anybody’s “dream” man in any universe.

“You’re interested in the same woman allegedly?” Laverne continued. “Apparently, it’s insinuated in the [Season 11 Sneak Peek] trailer.”
“Yes,” Katie admitted. “There’s a woman that we both have our eyes on.” By all accounts, the woman in question is singer Tori Keeth. She’s shown kissing both Katie and Tom (on different occasions) in the teaser. We’ve already been introduced to her, as Scheana Shay’s friend and potential babysitter.
“Have you dated a woman before?” Laverne went on. “Did I miss that season?”
“No, I mean, I’ve been with Tom for the last…” Katie began.
“Yes, you did date women,” Laverne joked. I don’t know if I’d go as far as calling Tom a girl, but he is totally a baby man. He’s got a lot of growing up to do. I don’t know how Katie put up with him for as long as she did. But then, she’s no picnic either.
“I’m kidding,” the Orange Is the New Black star backtracked. “We love you, Tom! So we have to wait to see what happens?”
“Soon enough, you’ll find out,” Katie teased.
“I can’t wait,” Laverne said, though she had one more question. “Who gets her?”
“Well, I’m the more attractive one, I think,” Katie hinted.
“You heard it here first,” Laverne concluded.
