The Valley’s first episode finally premiered on Tuesday this week after loads of promotion. Even the morning before the premiere, Brittany Cartwright interviews were coming out, with the star saying there would be “another” Jax Taylor on the show.
The promotions and premiere came amid the couple’s separation scandal. Given that timing, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the separation was just another ploy to get the buzz going for the Vanderpump Rules spinoff show.
After all, even though Brittany and Jax have had their problems in the past, nobody was exactly expecting a separation. Perhaps The Valley will shed some insight into what went down, with Jax now having a different Jax to bounce off of.
Brittany shares who brought the most drama on The Valley
In an interview with Today, Brittany was asked who was the most dramatic between Kirsten Doute, Jax, and Jesse Lally. “I think Kristen might bring the most drama this season,” she answered. “and then, of course, Jax is just always … Jax. But Jesse is a little spitfire.”
Regarding Jesse, Brittany further explained, “I think that’s going to be interesting because he’s a new character, and a lot of people are going to see a lot of Jesse, I think, because he doesn’t have a filter either. He’s another Jax.” Heaven knows we all need another Jax.
From there, the interviewer asked if Brittany thought reality TV helped or caused relationship problems. She responded, “I think it just brings it all to the surface.” However, rather than focusing on Jax, Brittany instead pointed the question toward Kristen.
She explained, “If I was to get in a fight with Kristen and I wasn’t filming, I probably wouldn’t talk to her for a couple days or something. But when we’re filming, it’s like we have to address it.”
The Valley continues Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo with Vanderpump Rules airing just before at 8/7c.
