In August 2023, Bethenny Frankel rocked the Bravoverse by interviewing Rachel Leviss. The podcasts came just a few months after Vanderpump Rules Season 10 concluded. The nation was still experiencing Scandoval fever at the time.
The choice to interview Rachel was seen as a bad move. Pump Rules viewers criticized Bethenny for giving a platform to Rachel after what she and Tom Sandoval did to Ariana Madix.
Indeed, Bethenny started fires without any care for how they might’ve spread. The truth behind some of Rachel’s claims is still disputed to this day. And the likes of Ariana, Lala Kent, and Scheana Shay didn’t appreciate Rachel’s comments.
Ariana suspects Rachel was lying to make herself feel better
On April 11, Bravo released a sneak peek of Pump Rules Season 11, Episode 12. As Ariana, Scheana, and Lala were filming the “Good As Gold” music video, something was going down at James Kennedy’s place. “James, you have to come listen to this,” Ally Lewber said, informing him of Rachel’s podcast appearance with Bethenny. James was rattled by the talk of his dog.
Over at Scheana’s shoot, the ladies began discussing it as well. In particular, they addressed Rachel’s claim that she and Ariana weren’t that close. “Rachel and I spent a ton of time together,” Ariana told the cameras. “When she says that we weren’t ‘that good of friends,’ it’s either her telling herself that … or it’s her saying, ‘I didn’t really think f*cking sh*t of Ariana.”
Scheana went off on Rachel’s comments about their living situation (despite her claims that she hadn’t caught up with the podcast yet). Ally slammed Rachel for taking “no accountability,” and went through other allegations on her part. She couldn’t help but wonder how Tom was feeling. From there, the conversation moved to Lala’s sperm donor party.
