We’re back in Charleston for Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 14, “The Telephone Game.” Last week, the Southern Charm cast wrapped up their trip to the Bahamas. Shep finally realized that Sienna wasn’t in love with him. They parted ways after an awkward dinner where his co-stars grilled Sienna with harsh questions. On a better note, Austen and Craig were finally able to come to a truce after Craig opened up about his addiction. Meanwhile, Venita was more convinced than ever that JT shared her feelings. Despite the fact that he’s seeing someone else.

This week, Craig and Paige hang out with Austen. As he mends his friendship, the cracks in Craig’s relationship with Paige are apparent. Madison gets some very good news. Salley prepares to get her implants out, which she only got to please her ex-fiancé. She vows to live more for herself as she approaches 30. Molly tells Taylor she felt embarrassed over her Shep crush in the Bahamas. Ryan makes an incredibly serious accusation about JT that could hurt his friendship with Venita.

Craig and Austen are reunited and it feels so good

Back in Charleston, Craig and Austen separately unpack their reunion. Craig tells Paige that Austen needed him to say outright he’s an addict to get it. All three of them discuss how addiction looks different than the stereotypical way they were taught growing up. Austen tells his sister that he has a better understanding of Craig’s actions now. Craig maintains he got sober for himself, but Paige was his main reason why. He was scared of losing her.

Madison has good news for her mom. The spot on Brett’s kidney turned out not to be cancer! This means they can move ahead with plans for babies. Madison emphasizes how much she wants a girl. As we know, she’s expecting a little girl now! Madison and her mom also know Hudson will make a great big brother. Right now, he’s in a bit of a smart-mouth phase. Madison had a phase of her own. Her mom remembers a time she left her family and ordered a three-course meal at a restaurant at only six years old.

Madison is also throwing a Summer Soiree with Ryan. Venita reaches out to JT to see if he’ll be her plus one. She claims Madison was going to invite JT anyway. But he’s hesitant after the Bahamas. Speaking of, Venita claims that he said he’d date her if it weren’t for his girlfriend. That gives her hope that they can have something.

Is Molly backing off Shep?

Molly and Taylor meet up for lattes and pup cups (as well as salted caramel gelato for Molly) as they take their dogs for a walk. Taylor loves Molly, and they got closer in the Bahamas. In fact, Taylor got along great with all the girls on the trip. We even get a brief glimpse at a sleepover where they gossiped about the guys in matching pjs. Back in Charleston, Molly and Taylor joke that Shep’s tears over Sienna must’ve added five extra feet of water to the ocean.

Speaking of, Shep admits that he’s not used to not getting what he wants. But the Sienna thing did make him realize he was finally ready to settle down with the right person. He tells his dad he’s onto the next chapter.

Molly reflects on how the others made her feel like she was in middle school by pressuring her to go for Shep. It made her embarrassed. She jokes to Taylor that she’s a decade too old for Shep anyway. Plus, she’s seen how he is to date. Taylor sees that Molly and Shep are both quirky and share values … although Molly probably isn’t a cheater. She jokes that Shep can be good practice for Molly to get back in the dating game. Taylor and Molly say “f*ck all the men in Charleston … not literally.”

Austen sees cracks with Paige and Craig

Austen hangs out with Paige and Craig. Paige says that when she’s in Charleston, all she does is sit and eat. Craig asks “Isn’t that great?” earning an eye roll. Paige and Austen get along great, exchanging jokes and laughing.

When Austen brings up Audrey, Paige asks how they’re progressing. Austen reveals they said I love you, but six months in, they’re not forcing anything progress-wise. Paige likes that Austen isn’t preoccupied with getting married as soon as possible. She also loves to hear that Austen likes how Audrey lives in a different city. He says he’s not going to push the question of moving in together until they’ve dated for two years. Paige points out that she and Craig have been together for two and a half years, and people were pressuring her to move right away. Audrey wants four kids, and Paige claims she should marry Craig because he wants the same. Craig tells Paige she wants three kids, but she corrects him that it’s two. “You don’t listen to me,” she says.

Austen notes that when he hangs out with Paige and Craig, he realizes things aren’t perfect. She snaps at him, he seems annoyed with her. And they’re obviously at different areas in their lives. As Austen and Paige joke that their favorite thing to do is make fun of Craig, he mutters that their jokes about him aren’t funny. We’re definitely setting the stage for the breakup now.

Ryan makes a damning accusation against JT

An emotional Venita calls Leva. Ryan heard from his barber that JT said there’s “some Black girl” who is coming onto him and that his girlfriend is pissed about it. Ryan repeated what he heard to Venita, who was obviously hurt. Venita’s never heard JT say something derogatory like that before. But Ryan’s married to a Black man, so “why would he lie” about that. Venita can’t imagine what Ryan’s motive would be for telling her this if it’s not what he heard. Leva also can’t imagine JT ever saying something that awful. But there’s been so much said about JT, she’s starting to wonder if they’re wrong about him. At the same time, Leva doesn’t know Ryan at all. She’s frustrated with this game of telephone around JT and decides to meet with him in person.

Thirty minutes later, Leva meets up with JT. Leva asks if he may have led Venita on, and he doesn’t say no. He admits they’ve had a flirty friendship but doesn’t want it to affect his relationship. And that’s one reason he doesn’t think it’s a good idea to go to the party together.

Then Leva brings up what Ryan said. JT denies it, insisting he’s not a racist and would never talk about Venita that way. He calls his barber to confirm. His barber claims he asked JT what was going on with the show. And that JT said there was “some interest with a cute Black girl.” The barber apologizes if he misstated something to Ryan. JT is convinced Ryan is trying to smear him, and is tired of the friend group treating him this way. He’s confused as to why Ryan would make such a horrible accusation against him.

Ten minutes later, JT calls Venita. He’s in a panicked rage accusing Ryan of making him out to be a racist. Venita tries to get him to calm down. But he’s upset that she and Leva are hurt by what Ryan claimed he said. He repeats how much he cares about Venita. He calls the accusations a “target job by a f*cking psychopath.” As we end on that note, we’re reminded that next week is the Season 10 finale.
