Kristen Doute is back at the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse. And goodness has she been missed. Thankfully, The Valley is finally airing its third season. So the Vanderpump Rules alum is back to share her thoughts on all things Bravo.
Nothing is bigger on Bravo right now than Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s situation. The Summer House stars issued a statement earlier things week confirming what viewers have been picking up on. Heck, even Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, could read the room.
Now, Kristen is sharing her thoughts. As usual, she’s calling it as she sees it.
The Valley star called it a “fling” and feels for Ciara Miller
WWHL host Andy Cohen asked Kristen, “How do you see the Amanda and West situation compared to what happened with Tom [Sandoval] and Ariana [Madix]? Because a lot of people are comparing the two.”
“Uh. I don’t know how to really compare it to that. So I’m very new on hearing all of this. I didn’t know a lot of the drama. I just feel for Ciara [Miller],” the Bravo star replied.
Kristen was known for major drama during her time on Vanderpump Rules. That included hooking up with Jax Taylor when both parties were in relationships with other people. Ironically, she was dating Sandoval. She referred to her past in her answer, notably careful not to be critical.
She continued, “And listen, I’m not one to throw stones, before anyone tries to go back 14 years and be like, ‘Kristen, you know what you did.’ Blah blah blah. I’m a mom now.”
In the aftermath of Amanda and West confessing feelings for each other, public opinion has turned on the swimwear designer. She and Kyle separated in the fall of 2025. And signs of chemistry between West and Amanda were already visibly.
Meanwhile, the sports reporter tried to woo his former flame Ciara while filming Summer House Season 10. It’s inexplicable, but the general concensus is support for the professional model.
“But I just really feel for Ciara,” Kristen said. “And I don’t think you should throw something away for a fling. Like, throw away all of your friends for a fling.”
A fling seems a logical way to describe what’s going on. Amanda herself admitted in a prior interview that West is “not marriage material.” Well, “not yet,” anyway.
