Next Gen NYC Star Brooks Marks Went to Circus School

Brooks Marks just revealed that he attended circus school. If you didn’t have that on your Next Gen NYC bingo card, you are not alone. The fashion designer impressed his co-stars, especially Gia Giudice, who spilled the popcorn about Brooks’ unusual experience.

The Next Gen NYC Season 2 cast revealed some secrets

Next Gen NYC follows the offspring of some well-known Bravolebrities as they pursue their personal and professional dreams. Ariana Biermann is part of the cast, as well as Gia, Brooks, and Riley Burruss. The trailer for Season 2 teased plenty of drama, as well as a new cast member, Brooks Shields’ daughter, Rowan Henchy.

The cast spoke with Parade, and Brooks explained his time at circus school. When asked if he actually attended, he replied, “Oh, I did. Yeah.”

In addition, Brooks’ Next Gen NYC co-stars hinted that Brooks’ mom, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks, might have urged him to embrace the unique training. However, Brooks didn’t agree. “I wanted to go to a performing arts camp. And so, it was a camp-like intensive program for circus.”

The fashion designer, who launched a resort-wear collection in December 2025, continued, “I mean, I was seven years old, so it’s like she did at the end of the day, like, send me to camp, but I think it was a mutual decision.” Meanwhile, Brooks retained his big top skills.

“Like, I can do a lot of circus things. The silks, the pole, trapeze, lyra, flying trapeze, [and] cloud swing. I mean, it has been 10 years, but I think it’s muscle … it’s like skiing, riding a bike, you know?”

However, when it comes to Next Gen NYC, Brooks decided to stay out of the comments section. “I stopped reading comments. It’s really bad for me, you know?” he remarked.

Next Gen NYC airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
