NeNe Leakes just offered fans an update regarding her relationship with Kim Zolciak, her former frenemy on Real Housewives of Atlanta. These friends made their debut in Season 1, but by the time their first reunion rolled into town, their friendship was already on the rocks. So, where does their relationship stand today?

“Close your legs to married men,” NeNe told Kim during their first sit-down. And for the rest of their shared tenures on RHOA, they went from hot to cold at record speed, hurling witty one-liners, claims of cockroaches in bathrooms, and accusations of poorly treated assistants. But as NeNe recently revealed, she and Kim are thankfully in a much better place these days.
Earlier this month, NeNe chatted with Vulture. They asked her which reality TV feud was the best, and NeNe quickly answered, “Hands down, me and Kim Zolciak.” But as NeNe explained, she and Kim are no longer at odds.
Instead, “Kim and I are on a good page,” NeNe revealed. “We don’t have any problems. I’ve bumped into her several times,” she added, and “I actually just DM’ed her the other day,” so “Thank you,” NeNe sassed, hysterically batting her eyelashes to better emphasize her words.
As for Kim, last January, she also showed Nene some love. On Instagram, Nene posted an image of herself sitting down, wearing an orange floor-length gown. “Being a HBIC is NOT just a vibe, Issa Lifestyle,” NeNe captioned her post. And in the comments, Kim appeared, leaving NeNe several supportive flame emojis.
