Kelly Dodd’s family drama was ramping up. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is embroiled in a nasty family feud. Kelly’s mother, Bobbi Meza, and her brother, Eric Meza, reportedly distanced themselves following Kelly’s recent legal woes. In addition, Kelly was reportedly estranged from her daughter, Jolie Dodd. And it seems like the family divide is worsening.
Kelly Dodd’s family feud with mom and drama explained
Kelly is currently facing three misdemeanor charges in a revenge porn case. A Jane Doe accuser alleged that around August 29, 2025, Kelly “unlawfully and intentionally” shared images of the victim engaged in sexual contact. Kelly also supposedly “contacted the person and threatened to injure her, her property, and her family” after she allegedly agreed not to distribute the images.
Meanwhile, Kelly traded barbs with her family. Kelly’s brother, Eric, alleged that years ago, Child Protective Services nearly took Jolie away from Kelly. “Her daughter doesn’t want to have anything to do with her whatsoever,” Eric stated. “Neither do I, neither does her mother.”
In an Instagram video, Kelly slammed her mother, claiming that she threatened her. “So, I wake up this morning to a threatening message from my mother, threatening our livelihood,” Kelly explained, referring to her husband, Rick Leventhal. “And she said, ‘If you [don’t] stop talking about [your brother] Eric on your Patreon, I’m going to do [X].’”
She continued, “Why are you threatening me? Leave me alone. I don’t bother you,” adding, “This is disgusting.”
However, Kelly continued ranting. “Stop texting me. I thought I had you blocked. Stop with the threats,” she stated. “What’s up with the threats all the time, [saying] you’re going to expose me, you’re going to come to my job.”
The RHOC alum added, “I’m not scared of you. And I haven’t even spoken about your stupid son, okay? He started this crap. Leave me alone!” Yikes!
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 premieres July 9 on Bravo. It will stream the next day on Peacock.
