Vicki dragged Carmella regarding her parenting, which angered Heather. And Shannon confronted Heather again about the room situation.

During the second day of the trip, the ladies headed to the Grand Canyon. Although Jenn had already unpacked, she switched rooms with Shannon. Shockingly, there was no elevator noise.

Both Heather and Jenn felt that the situation was ridiculous, and Jenn was frustrated that Shannon didn’t address the grievance directly with Fancy Pants. Meanwhile, Shannon got a scooter for Vicki because of her knee injury.

The ladies took two cars, with Heather, Emily, Jenn, and Tamra riding together. Tamra discussed how “frazzled” Carmella was the previous night because one of her daughters was ill. Plus, Emily talked to Jenn about going into business with Carmella.

However, as they approached the Grand Canyon, Jenn asked, “How did the Grand Canyon get out in the middle of nowhere? Like, who finds this?” Oof.

In the other car, Carmella, Vicki, Shannon, and Gina rode together. Carmella shared that her 14-year-old daughter, Faith, had the flu, and her boyfriend, Danny, was looking after her.

She also revealed that she filed for divorce from her ex when her kids were quite young. “Because we are in business together, we kept kind of just kicking it down the road,” Carmella explained. The newbie added that she stayed home to raise their children.

“This woman does not make sense on anything that she says. It’s just … there’s something wrong here, and I don’t know why nobody else is seeing it,” Vicki commented in her talking head.

Champagne and Sky Walks in RHOC

Then, it was time for the ladies to walk out on the glass Sky Walk. They enjoyed some champs as they took in the majestic views.

Afterward, they chose between ziplining and having a cultural experience. Vicki, Shannon, Jenn, and Emily opted for ziplining. The group climbed seven flights up to zipline over the Grand Canyon.

Both Shannon and Vicki immediately regretted their choices. “I have a lot of life insurance on me. I’ll tell you that much right now,” Vicki announced.

After the duo refused to zip line down, they took the stairs to the ground. Meanwhile, Emily and Jenn took a stroll, taking in the gorgeous desert sights. Of course, it was time for Emily to stir the pot, this time about Shannon.

“I feel like maybe you should say something to Shannon just about, like, the tantrums and the behavior and the meltdowns,” she suggested, referencing Shannon’s displeasure with her accommodations. “At the end of the day, it was just because Heather had something better and she felt like she deserved it.”

Eventually, Shannon and Vicki arrived by car. Naturally, Emily brought up Shannon wanting to switch rooms. “What angered me is that Heather always cares about the room, and you know that she does,” Shannon stated.

“And she walked in and sat on the bed. And I go, ‘Oh. Is this your room?’ And she goes, ‘Well, I took my shoes off. Yeah, it is. And Jenn’s going to be in the primary, so you take that room there,’” Shannon explained.

“She peed on it,” Vicki stated. “She peed on the bed.” Well, Vicki would know! Ah, memories!

While Shannon thought she had addressed the issue at dinner, the ladies insisted she didn’t get her point across. Now, Heather can look forward to round two.

Has Tamra changed in RHOC?

For the cultural experience, the ladies listened to members of the Hualapai Tribe sing. Afterward, Tamra, Gina, Carmella, and Heather sat outside to enjoy the spectacular scenery. “It’s so peaceful, you guys. It makes me want to cry,” Tamra stated.

“This year, you’re like such a different person,” Gina told Tamra as Tamra wiped away a tear. Tamra revealed that she has learned to “let things go and just appreciate my friendships. And try not to get angered or triggered by things that don’t really matter.”

Of course, Heather had some thoughts about the new and improved Tamra. In her confessional, Heather admitted, “I love this Tamra. I love seeing her balanced, happy, engaging, fun.”

The ladies decided to gamble. Jenn discussed how Emily felt it was strange that Carmella was building business relationships instead of friendships. “She wants to try something new. Like, I want to support her in that,” Carmella said, referring to Jenn.

“Be an employee. Be a partner?” Vicki asked. However, Carmella has one member of The Tres Amigas in her corner. “I just feel bad, sweetie. I feel like you’re defending yourself for your generosity and your kindness,” Shannon said.

However, Vicki disagreed. “It’s a lot of red flags,” she said. “I’ve never in my life done something that I thought was nice and had it picked apart to this degree,” Carmella responded.

Then Vicki asked the newbie if she lived in the OC. “I live in Rancho Santa Fe. I have a second home in Orange County,” Carmella explained.

“You left your kids in San Diego. That’s bizarre to me!” Vicki exclaimed. “I always put my children first,” Carmella replied. “That’s below the belt.”

Then, Vicki criticized Carmella for leaving her 14-year-old daughter while she was sick. “At 14 years old, one year older than my grandson, there’s no way my daughter would leave that child,” Vicki said.

“Vicki, we’re not doing children,” Heather chimed in. “No. No. Move on.”

Vicki fired back, “Don’t talk to me that way!” Still, Heather didn’t back down. “No kids. Stand down,” she insisted.

“This has gone too far. How Carmella chooses to parent is none of Vicki’s business,” Heather remarked in her talking head.

“You cannot criticize someone as a mother,” Shannon insisted. “I know who I am as a mom,” Carmella said, relatively calmly. “That’s one place in life I’m motherf*cking solid.”

Jenn and Gina went to check on Carmella. “But to then say that I left my kids? My kids are everything to me,” Carmella said. Gina shared that she was also treated poorly by Vicki when she was a newbie.

In another room, Tamra spoke to Vicki. “You were mom-shaming Carmella and calling her a bad mom,” Tamra said. “Never said bad mom,” Vicki replied. Then, she added that she felt like “Carmella is buying her way into this.”

Next up was a scavenger hunt organized by Heather. Heather’s teammates were Carmella, Shannon, and Emily. Heaven forbid Gina and Emily be on the same team!

Each cast member was given a sash with their showgirl name on it, courtesy of ChatGPT. After completing five tasks, one person from each team must take a spin on the zip line. So, Vicki and Shannon were nominated to perform the zip line challenge. Tasks for the scavenger hunt included performing a model walk and having a dance party.

Finally, Vicki won the ziplining challenge, and Shannon conquered her fear. Woo-hoo!

The ladies prepared for their final night in Vegas. At the bar, Vicki hugged Carmella and apologized. “I made you feel horrible, and I’m sorry,” Vicki said.

In her confessional, Vicki shared that she was experiencing “peer pressure” to apologize to the newbie. Carmella accepted and said that they could move on. However, Carmella noted in her talking head, “But I’m definitely not over the things that were said. They were pretty awful.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays, 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
