Tom Sandoval’s Craziest Moments on and off Vanderpump Rules

Way before Scandoval broke the internet, Tom Sandoval of Vanderpump Rules was actually a pretty interesting character in the series. At one point, he was even likable. He seemed to be a good friend to those around him and would go out of his way to help them out in a pinch. I can recall a time when he was the number one guy in the group, and all was well. Now, however, he is a cad who nobody likes. But let’s take a look back at some of his craziest moments in the series.

Battered Wife

It is hard to understand just how much Tom hated Katie Maloney, but we got a good idea when he started ranting and raving about his best friend, Tom Schwartz, being treated like a “battered wife.” While completely dressed in drag, Sandy had a major meltdown, which was unbecoming but a treat to watch. Sandoval’s rampage included a monologue about how Schwartzy was “belittled and told what he needs to do all the fu*king time. Leave him the fu*k alone!” It gave me 2007 “Leave Britney alone” vibes, but I was here for it.

As Tom’s tirade came to a conclusion, he yelled he was a “fu*king battered wife” and kicked in the door so cameras could see Schwartz half-dressed in drag, pondering where it all went wrong on his hotel bed. This, my friends, was elevated reality TV at its best.

Tom Goes Digging

Imagine leaving your girlfriend behind in such a vulnerable state just to go play with bulldozers…this is the moment I knew #tomsandoval wasn’t SHIT #scandoval #bravo #pumprules #vanderpumprules #fyp

Imagine leaving your girlfriend behind while she is mourning a death in the family just to go to Las Vegas with the guys to play in the dirt. Welp, this is exactly what Tom did during Season 4 of Vanderpump Rules. Apparently, bulldozers are greater than your one true love? Ariana Madix had just lost her father and was having quite a year. She really wanted her long-time boyfriend to be by her side. Fans will recall Ariana breaking down during her unicorn-themed birthday party and telling Sandy how hard it had been.

But Tom has always been great at turning the conversation toward him and told her that he would still be partaking in the guy’s trip. Even though Ariana begged him to reconsider, he noted, “I’m not going anywhere. I’m always going to be here for you. But apparently, he told me we’re going to a construction yard, and we’re taking bulldozers and, like, crushing shit with bulldozers.” What a literal ass.

Mention It All, Sandy

If we didn’t know Sandy was shady, then we were dumb. During Season 7, Tom thought it was okay to reveal Ariana’s sexual orientation to the guys to impress them. While out for cigars following his 36th birthday, Tom revealed a secret hookup between Ariana and Lala Kent. Not cool, bro. In graphic detail, Tom shared, “I don’t know if I ever told you this. Ariana and Lala had been out all day drinking, and they’re wasted. They’re in my car, and Lala goes, ‘Sorry, Sando, I’m just in love with your girl right now. Ariana, will you come in the back seat? I just want to eat your pu**y,’ Ariana climbs in the back, and Lala just starts going to fu*king town, dude.”

Naturally, Ariana was pissed when she found out, telling her long-term partner later, “Are you fu*king kidding me? I literally just got a phone call from Lala telling me the story you told on your birthday to try to sound cool in front of a bunch of guys.” In an unapologetic twist, Tom didn’t seem to bother telling Ariana, “It’s not that big of a deal.” Honestly, I would have strangled him and broken up on the spot. Literal garbage, human.

Tom’s Singing

Anytime Tom sings, I get really uncomfortable, but I almost forgot about his impromptu performance at PUMP during an early Vanderpump Rules season. With his bandmate, Issac, by his side, Tom jumped onto a very smoky stage, which was knocking out the crowd to bust a move. The duo were promoting their music video, Touch in Public, but all anyone wanted to do was try not to vomit in public. Lisa Vanderpump asked, “Is this like a comedy act?” No, Ma’am, this was real life, and we all had to endure it
