Tom Sandoval’s redemption tour rolls on… The Vanderpump Rules alum, who created the chaos known as Scandoval, recently auditioned for Season 20 of America’s Got Talent. Tom and his band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, impressed the judges. Now, Tom has his eyes set on winning AGT.
Could Tom Sandoval win America’s Got Talent?
Tom and his band performed Take on Me by A-ha. While the judges seemed pleased, Simon Cowell did offer some criticism. “For me, the vocals weren’t great, Tom,” Simon stated. However, the group made it through to the next round.
Of course, there were rumors that Tom was allegedly given some “special treatment” at AGT. Why? Because of his relationship with NBC and his ability to boost ratings.
Now, Tom is sharing what winning AGT would mean for his future. “That would be crazy. That would be so amazing,” Tom told E! News. “Obviously, there’s such a slim chance because of so many great acts out there, but I would obviously be so happy for the band and for myself.”
As for which of the four judges made Tom the most nervous? “Obviously, Simon Cowell. He’s a legend,” the Pump Rules alum said. “I mean, they all are, but he definitely has his reputation of being brutally honest.”
He continued, “Seeing Simon Cowell’s smile at the end and Mel B just being like, ‘You really put a smile on my face and I loved it.’ Everybody was having a good time, and we got a standing ovation. That means so much to me,” Tom added.
And he also had a special shout-out to all the fans who believed in his improbable journey. “It was really hard. Thank you for following along, and hopefully we do well and I do them proud,” The Traitors alum said. “Wish us the best of luck.”
Well, Tom has already reconnected with VPR co-star Kristen Doute and her fiancé, Luke Broderick. So, in that respect, he is already winning.
