If you hadn’t heard already, there’s some tea brewing between Scheana Shay and Peter Madrigal. It all started after she released her jaw-dropping memoir earlier this year. At first, it seemed to highlight her personal life, especially her long list of ex lovers. But the book also threw some shade toward her former Vanderpump Rules boss Lisa Vanderpump.
Specifically, Scheana accused the Bravo icon of using her pain for views and her overall success. Lisa responded pretty bluntly, telling the world that she doesn’t care about what Scheana alleged. But you know who does? Lisa’s close friend and SUR manager Peter Madrigal. And he is pissed.

Peter was a recent guest on the Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz podcast. It was during the segment that he called out Scheana for shading Lisa in her book.
“It had to do with her going after the queen, the woman who none of us would be here without, Lisa Vanderpump. And when she did that I was like, ‘alright, gloves are off. I’m done,’” he ranted in the September 30 episode.
He really doesn’t have to hold back, either. After all, the OG VPR stars were replaced with a reboot cast. They have taken over SUR, which Peter still manages, so he doesn’t have any allegiance with the original cast anymore.
“None of them are under me now. So now I can talk, say whatever I want. Now I can express myself the way I always wanted to.”
Now that the gloves are off, who knows how much tea Peter is willing to spill. Maybe Scheana’s book won’t be the only memoir we get this year.
