Well, there is more to the story about how these two Vanderpump Rules alums started feuding. During the course of their friendship, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay have quarreled and made up – rinse and repeat. However, this time it seems a bit more serious.
Scheana was upset that Lala didn’t do enough to promote her memoir, My Good Side. I mean, friends should support each other, right? So, when Lala made some shady comments about Scheana’s reaction, Scheana called her out for “subtle digs.” And from there, the feud gained traction as fans clamored to find out more.

Recently, Lala shared her side of the story, alleging that their beef was all about the timing of when Lala posted about Scheana’s book. “She’s upset that I didn’t post it in the proper timeline,” Lala stated, adding that she was “disappointed” in Scheana’s actions.
However, Scheana clarified the reason for their friendship breakdown in her podcast, Scheananigans. “Lala knows why our friendship is in the state that it’s in,” Scheana told Pump Rules and The Valley executive producer Alex Baskin. According to Scheana, Lala told Jenna Willis, who appears on The Valley, about Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies’, affair. And Scheana had “not been on good terms” with Jenna.
Plus, Scheana also felt disrespected by Lala on two other occasions. Lala allegedly called Scheana, swearing and screaming about a playdate when both of their daughters were there. Another time, Lala was upset because Scheana gave her mother’s friend’s name to production on The Valley. And Scheana also revealed that right before every reunion, she and Lala would joke about Lala’s “redemption tour.” After being rude to Scheana all season long, Lala would say that she was sorry and shed a few tears on camera. Only time will tell if this duo is able to repair their friendship.
