It’s been rumored that yet again veteran Real Housewives Of New York stars Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Luann de Lesseps are locked in a steely contract negotiation with Bravo over their salaries for season 8. Well, Bethenny Frankel, blunt as ever and never one to hold back, just confirmed it!
Bethenny has no patience for this Manhattan Standoff. “Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered and negotiation is definitely an art form,” she quipped caustically.

On numerous occasions Bethenny has been seen filming alongside Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, and possible new Housewife Julianne Wainstein. Meanwhile Ramona, Luann, and Sonja have been boycotting while trying to demand that Bravo pay them the same $1 million per season Bethenny is earning
Despite Ramona, Luann and Sonja’s posturing, Bethenny has doubt they’ll be back. I mean, after all, they’ve tried this before! “I would venture to guess that most these women are not willing to walk away, so it’s all a useless exercise in nothing.”
Interesting reaction from Bethenny, a successful businesswoman who has always promoted fighting for what you want and deserve. Last season Real Housewives Of New York finally recovered from a period of stagnation which equaled struggling ratings and bizarre casting. The show is certainly not going anywhere – Andy Cohen declared it a staple.
This summer Bethenny also popped in for a cameo on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills at the opening of Kyle Richards‘ Hamptons store. The caftans are spreading?! PUHLEASE NO!
“My friend Kyle asked me to do a signing at her store,” explains Bethenny to ET. “It was a totally different experience,” she admits.
However, Bethenny would never consider relocating to Beverly Hills because she loves living in New York. But also because well there’s that little matter of her ongoing divorce from Jason Hoppy and custody of her daughter Bryn. “I am not divorced,” Bethenny confirmed. “And it’s been the worst experience of my life.” Bethenny is currently not dating anyone.
Bethenny is also keeping busy launching an ever-expanding, and seemingly never ending, parade of Skinnygirl products. What’s next Skinnygirl Costco?
Bethenny also celebrated her 45th birthday, which was filmed for Real Housewives Of New York. No doubt sponsored by Skinnygirl! Bethenny denies that 40 is the new 30 though, she believes women tell themselves that to “make themselves feel better about getting old.” Probably!
