Is it already time to say goodbye to Jules Wainstein? Sources say that Jules will not return to Real Housewives Of New York for a second season.
Jules was added as a friend of Dorinda Medley‘s, but she had a lot of difficulty connecting with several of the women and fitting in, additionally she was dealing with several complicated personal issues – from her eating disorder, to marital problems, and her father’s health, which meant lackluster storylines.

Bethenny Frankel, who initially suggested Jules be added to the cast, went on to blast Jules for coming into Housewives with hiding her struggling marriage while using the show to gain some financial independence before divorcing. Michael filed mid-season amid rumors of cheating. Their off-screen squabbling has been far more interesting than anything Jules did on screen this season!
E! News reports that Jules will not be back as a full-time Housewife next season, but will pop in occasionally as a ‘friend’. Jules rep side-steps the rumors, simply saying, “Jules is going through a divorce and is putting her family first.” Which sounds like passive agreement that the news is true. Bravo, predictably, isn’t commenting.

Real Housewives Of New York is said to be headed for a casting shakeup next season. With rumors that Bethenny is leaving after securing a business-centered spinoff (no, I do not believe she’ll be back under a production credit) and complaining that the show has become “too negative.” It’s assumed Carole Radziwill will also leave.
Tonight Real Housewives Of New York returns with part 2 of the reunion. Bethenny is emotional over her life and continues to lash out at Luann over her choices and relationships. Bethenny then confronts Jules for lying about her marriage. The women all blame Dorinda for stirring the pot, and Ramona comes bearing receipts about her relationship with Tom, leaving Luann once again on the defense.
