LVP sizes up Lisa Rinna

Dorit Kemsley Isn’t Going To Fight Lisa Vanderpump’s Battles For Her – Wants To Get To Know All Her RHOBH Co-Stars

Dorit Kemsley is the new girl on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, and she’s fluently trying to speak the languages of all the native housewives. Which is precisely why she’s not blindly heeding the warnings of her close friend Lisa Vanderpump.

First, Dorit met Kyle Richards and that went swell. “We enjoyed meeting Kyle and Mauricio. They are such a lovely couple and clearly very in love with one another. We all really hit it off from the beginning. Kyle and I bonded over kids, fashion, traveling, and the love of our husbands. She is super funny and warm and I knew from the second I met her that we’d have a lot of fun together.”

Then, Dorit progressed onward to Erika Girardi‘s version of Disco Fabulous (and it must be said that Shannon Beador needs to take some notes!).

Dorit went into Erika’s party bearing Lisa’s hesitations in mind, but ultimately decided that in order to be the best housewife she can be, she had to form her own opinions about who could be trusted and who should be dusted. Which is why she gave Eileen a chance.

“I knew that Lisa V had an unfortunate experience with some of the other ladies on the show last year, mainly Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, so I will admit that I was a little apprehensive about meeting them for the first time with Lisa,” admits Dorit in her first ever Bravo blog. “But nonetheless I wanted to make my own conclusions and start off our relationship without any judgment of what went down the previous year.”

“The first meeting with Lisa Rinna was a bit awkward as there was clearly some tension in the air still,” Dorit continues, “but I wanted Lisa R to know that Lisa V had not enlisted me to fight her battles.”

“I really enjoyed meeting Eileen, she was kind and engaging and had a real warmth to her,” adds Dorit. “She has eyes that sparkle and you can tell that she’s an intelligent, strong and independent woman.”

Does Dorit begrudge LVP for keeping her distance from Lipsa and Eileen? Absolutely not, but they are just not Dorit’s battles to fight – yet. “Lisa V is undeniably a ‘lady’ with class and poise and knows how to keep herself composed and handle her issues, which is something I admire and respect.”

She also notes that after Erika starved her guests, Dorit, Kyle, LVP, and the hubbies stopped for burgers on the way home. Seriously Erika. Next time speak to those Richards about hiring the Fat Burger truck. Like, duh!
