For the most part, Melissa Gorga’s main story line last season on Real Housewives of New Jersey was opening up her clothing store Envy which was basically just a multi-episode push for publicity, but I would do the same thing if I were her. Recently Envy made headlines Melissa’s former business partner Jackie Beard Robinson liquidated inventory and had a big sale at rival Kim DePaola’s store Posche. Well, Melissa got it together way sooner than any of us expected and Envy is set to reopen pretty soon.
We all know how thirsty Kim D is for attention and that she would do anything to screw with Melissa, so it is not at all shocking that she managed to involve herself in this mess. At this point, Melissa is winning this feud, but I feel like Kim D always manages to slither her way to some form of revenge.

As if ending their business partnership didn’t sting hard enough, Jackie collaborating with the biggest shit stirrer on the planet, Kim D., must have really pissed Melissa off. So if that was her goal, I’m sure her mission was accomplished.

A lot of these reality star businesses don’t work out, but it was just really shocking to see Envy fall so quickly. And I’m honestly even more shocked that it’s rising back up even quicker. Melissa shared her good news in an Instagram post that read “We are reopening this Saturday!” Seriously though- so damn quick.
The post also said, “I will be there from 12-3 to meet you all,” which I’m sure her fans are pumped about, but I did detect some subtle shade with this part: “So happy that Envy is all mine!” I wonder who is going to do the work that Jackie was handling for the store. If you recall, Jackie was the one with years of fashion retail experience that Melissa relied on. I wonder if she replaced Jackie or if she is just taking on a lot more of the workload? Probably the former, but I’m still curious.
Melissa ended the post with a shout out to her supporters: “Thank you so much for believing in me & I can’t wait to see you Saturday.”

It will be interesting to see how Envy fares this time around now that Melissa seems to be taking the reigns.
