Even though Bethenny Frankel basically told Sonja Morgan her life is a disastrous mess and she’s living in a delusional fantasy world, Bethenny insists the two are in a “good spot” and still friends.
“I think I was being supportive,” the Real Housewives Of New York star says,of her sit-down with Sonja in Atlantic City – which is the first of many! “It’s compassion,” Bethenny elaborated. “There’s a whole trajectory with Sonja and I this season,” said Bethenny.
As for the dramatic, heartbreaking episode, Bethenny feels it was a great example of RHONY at its finest.”I thought the show, overall, was really funny. People thought it was one of the best episodes,” she quipped. I kinda agree.
“The surgery was close to four hours,” Jim Marchese told E!. “They removed the tumor and more than 20 millimeters surrounding it. She was in a good deal of pain last night. She’s been resting and she is coming home today. After this, she’ll have five weeks of radiation and then another surgery.”
First of all when I am 50, I hope and pray I look as fabulous as Luann de Lesseps. Oh did I mention – Lu turned 50 and celebrated her birthday this past weekend with friends – and her ex-boyfriend Jacques Azoulay!
Despite the fact that Jacques threw the Real Housewives Of New York star’s “Fifty Shades Of Fabulous” birthday fete, Luann insists the two have remained friends and there is no rekindling of romances, but they certainly looked cozy in photos from Luann’s celebration!
When I’m wrong, I say I’m wrong. I know it wasn’t you who got Baby in trouble…and I was wrong thinking last week’s episode of Southern Charm was one for the books. Last night’s installment had it all! Dancing, conspiracies, that long-awaited “shameless strumpet” word bomb, and can we just dish on the ending for one moment? No bird has ever flown higher! Let’s dive right in, shall we?
The crew learns of Thomas Ravenel’s assault charges while they wreaking havoc on the croquet court. Great paté, but they’ll have to motor if they want to make it to dance lessons in time. Cameran Eubanks assumes that Kathryn Dennis will be motoring her sassy ass back to Charleston to publicly support T-Rav, and Craig Conover is thanking his lucky stars that something more pressing (and actually in the press) is diverting the attention away from his questionable decisions from the night before. The Charmers ponder how Kathryn will respond to the allegations, and Jennifer Snowden responds, “She doesn’t process things like an adult. It won’t really sink in with her the brevity of the situation.” It is a very brief situation indeed. The crew learns that T-Rav’s accuser is Kathryn’s best friend. A stylist by trade and an opportunist by nature, according to Cameran.
Also this week, Kandi took a minute (which is more than the topic deserved) to respond to the backlash over her decision to not console NeNe Leakes at the Real Housewives of Atlantareunion. “Overall, Nene and I had been arguing that whole day and I am not the person that she would have wanted to console her,” Kandi told Page Six. “And secondly, if the shoe was on the other foot, she would not have come to console me.” I could not agree more.

Abby Lee Miller wants it known there is “absolutely” nothing Holly Frazier can do to restore her tepid standing on Dance Moms and she won’t be returning to the show. Interestingly, Holly seems to confirm she and Nia are done with ALDC, which is currently filming its 6th season. So does that mean a mid-season exit for Nia?
There was apparently drama at the recent Reality TV Awards where Abby stormed away from Holly on the red carpet after calling her “the worst.” Of course Holly had a more eloquent explanation for their issues. “It’s unfortunate. I think with any type of evolution with relationships there would be hope that there would be opportunities to repair it. As a person, I thought I gave an example of how we could and it’s unfortunate that she thinks we can’t.”
Remember the Joan Jett anthem, “I Hate Myself for Loving You?” Well, that’s my relationship with Southern Charm’sThomas Ravenel. As the show’s resident delusional political wannabe, over-the-hill baby daddy and strumpet-impregnator, T-Rav should be a laughing stock. But there’s something about him that keeps me waffling between disgust with his behavior and empathy for his “plight” (which, okay – yes, he squarely got himself into!).
In his latest Bravo blog, Thomas starts out by negatively commenting on Kathryn Dennis’decision to vacation on Jekyll Island instead of…what? Sitting in their depressing kitchen, waiting for T-Rav’s campaign manager to call to tell her to leave T-Rav alone some more!? When he found out Kathryn was leaving for a weekend away, Thomas says he “didn’t really know how to respond at first, but then I realized that I was disappointed and hurt. I needed support. I really needed support at that time.” Support in the form of waiting around all dang day in Target leggings while your baby daddy sleeps at a hotel 38 nights in a row! Hmmm. Thomas claims, however, he wasn’t surprised that Craig Conover was the main impetus for Kathryn going on the trip: “Knowing Craig’s recent choices anyone could see he wanted someone to party with and not judge him for it. Kathryn seemed to fit the bill.”
I am not quite sure how to take this season’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. While the men are as messy as ever (I’m still looking at you, Kirk!), the women’s behavior is all over the charts. Is Mimi a hustler or most questionable of the group? Do the “artists” some of the folks are trying to “manage” understand the concept of professionalism? What is the world coming to when Stevie J. is the most normal person on the show? I don’t have many more evens to can’t.
Last night’s episode begins with the much touted meeting between Nikko’s wife Margeaux and Joseline Hernandez. Joseline is hoping that her enemy’s enemy could potentially be her best friend. Margeaux admits that it’s hard to be in Atlanta where she has no ties, and Nikko’s sex tape with Mimi Faust has thrown her for a loop. While she and Nikko weren’t together when he made the tape with Mimi Faust, Margeaux didn’t like being married to a man who the world thinks leaked the shower rod video. Margeaux lets it slip that it was Mimi’s plan to devise the story surrounding how Vivid ended up with the footage because she was hurting for cash. From inception to post-production, Mimi was in charge even though she played the victim. Joseline isn’t surprised in the least to learn this news, and she can’t wait to use it against Stevie J.’s ex.
