Now sources are saying that Briana left Matt last month “because there was no way of resuscitating their three-year marriage.” This news comes, no doubt, as a relief to many. But how long will the separation last?
OK, I just accidentally watched a Chuck Norris infomercial in its entirety (don’t ask!) and am prepped and ready to go on this here recap. On last night’s Little Women: LA, some alliances shifted while other friendships continued to circle the drain. Excited about her prospects as an author, Terra Jole meets with her publisher to work out the details. Guess who still has a problem with Terra or literally anyone pursuing another gig? Elena Gant! Our Official Season 6 Hater. (What happened to this chick? Seriously.)
Terra also unexpectedly finds herself relating to Briana Renee, as Briana navigates the frightening decision of whether to have baby Maverick undergo spinal surgery. Meanwhile, Christy McGinity Gibel finally battles back from the wreckage of last year (and most of this season, which has placed her on a very cold back burner) by accusing Briana of underhanded moves with her PR firm. Tonya Banks continues to browbeat Kerwin into taking their relationship to the next level – like unpacking his duffel bag, for example.
For fans and viewers of Little Women: LA, the marriage drama between self-proclaimed Bonnie and Clyde Briana Renee and Matt Ericson is s staple since he came on the scene, ripped jeans and tacky t-shirts a blazin’. But this season has given us a welcome reprieve from hearing about the “did he/didn’t” he cheating rumors that dog them and they have even hung around the other cast quite a bit. Well, that’s about to be shot to hell, thanks to a huge fight between them, which resulted in Briana (sort of) growing a pair of balls and threatening divorce. Don’t go getting all excited though….you know how these troubled relationships never quite end as quickly as they are supposed to.
Jasmine Sorge is finally coming home from the hospital with her new baby, Benjamin and as much as I like Jasmine, maybe now we can stop hearing about how hard her pregnancy was. It’s not that I don’t feel for her, but if I had to hear one more time about her hormones making her turn into a she-devil, I was going to lose it. Oh, and her delivery was also terrible and traumatic because she got sick to her stomach and had to have someone hold her eyelashes baby, while he had to barf into a bag. But now she’s home and her husband is still alive (for now).
It’s been a few peaceful months since the ladies of Little Women: LA have dragged each other through the wringer. Fall dropped its leaves. Winter brought holiday warmth and cozy feelings for all mankind. The promise of spring is right around the corner. I even did some major deep breathing before hitting “play” on my DVR last night in hopes that peace and harmony will reign supreme on season six.
It’s official! Little Women: LA, the flagship show that started the entire Little Women franchise on Lifetime, has begun filming season six. So, take a few cleansing breaths while you can – because more cat fighting, drug accusations, pregnancy news, and of course, vomit inducingMatt Ericson [Grundhoffer] insanity is just around the corner.
LWLA producer and star of the show, Terra Jole, posted the above pic on Instagram, announcing that she was “Back at it with these guys!” referring to the film crew beside her. No word on season six’s premiere date yet, but with LWLA’s history of stacking seasons back to back in dizzying succession, one can assume it’s not too far away.
Tonight is the Little Women: LA reunion episode and oh what a trainwreck it is shaping up to be! Much to Matt and Briana Manson’s dismay, Plastic Martyr is making an appearance tonight and, needless to say, the couple is hostile over her presence.
She took to Instagram this week to confirm that she filmed with the cast. She also had some choice words for Briana Renee. “So the cat is out of the bag. I will be on the reunion show for Little Women LA. I guess there is already a commercial with me in it out now, where Briana cowardly scampers off the set. This is true and was highly amusing.”
Is it just me, or has this been the most exhausting season of Little Women: LA yet? We are on episode sixteen, for fudge’s sake! Thank goodness, next week is the season 5 finale, after which Kevin Frazier will return to lay down the smack on certain cast members (Christy McGinity and Terra Jole) during the 2-part reunion.
After last week’s Casino Night exploded like a dirty bomb in everyone’s faces, Christy is hell bent on getting back “in” with the group. But it’s too little, too late for Briana Renee and Terra, who can’t even stomach the sight of their former friend on a “survivalist retreat” that Tonya Banksdelusionally organizes. Terra is more concerned about meeting her partner for Dancing With The Stars, who she suddenly laments will be taller than her. Ya think!?
