Mona Scott Young

So, maybe Benzino wasn’t as happy as we thought about having to relive his mother’s funeral and his subsequent shooting all because Mona Scott Young didn’t have Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s camera crew following his every move when the actual drama occurred. That would certainly explain why he’s calling out the show’s creator about yet another (yawn…) explosive and brawl-filled reunion. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all, right?

This season’s reunion just finished taping, and you’ll be surprised–shocked even!–to learn that Joseline Hernandez was involved in several physical altercations, including one with Benzino’s new fiancee Ho-thea Althea. Can you believe it? You could have knocked me over with a feather when I learned that Benzino was accusing Mona of instigating all of the drama for ratings. No way! ;)

Mona Scott Young

Mona Scott Young, the dictatress behind Love & Hip Hop, has come under fire recently for the violence on the show – and for allegedly bailing Stevie J out of jail amid his child support woes and for telling Joseline Hernandez to hide domestic abuse

Well, Mona defends behavior on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and also talks future L&HH locations!

Responding to a fight with newbie Teairra Mari which will air in a future episode, Mona is dismissive. "Nobody got banged up, no. You’ll have to stay tuned."

Mob Wives Renee Graziano

Apparently Renee Graziano is taking over reality TV. All reality TV. She'll be sowing her wild oats as she spreads the love around VH1. But don't worry – she's not leaving her home show Mob Wives

Renee chatted with Wetpaint about expanding her reality TV palate by taking guest runs on Hollywood Exes to hang out with the cast. Not only is she appearing on Hollywood Exes (which just goes to show you don't have to be a Hollywood ex or even live in Hollywood to make the cut), but we're also going to see her on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta…also proving that you don't have to live in Atlanta or have any ties to the hip hop community to be in good with Mona Scott Young

Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez in New York

Mo money, mo problems, right? Maybe the phrase should be "Mona money, Mona problems" because the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta can't seem to stay on the straight and narrow. Leaked sex tapes and funeral shootings and Nikko's smirk, oh my! Mona Scott Young should pitch a spin-off that's sober house meets Couples Therapy. Just kidding…I'm trademarking that idea as I type. TM, Mona, T.M.

So I predicted that Mona posted Stevie J.'s bail after he was arrested for owing more than $1 million in child support (how is that even a thing??), and it turns out I was right. However, it seems that not paying for his children isn't Stevie's only issue (and I'm not counting the Puerto Rican princess).

Mona Scott Young has been accused of a lot of cover-ups lately. According to a new report, Mona is so desperate to protect the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta brand she is lying about her stars to keep them on the show!

Stevie J was arrested this month for owing over $1 million in back child support for his two minor children (aged 14 and 16) from a previous relationship with Carole Antoinette Bennett. Stevie, through his attorney, called the allegation "preposterous".

It was Mona who posted the $25k bail for her prized Stevie. It seems Stevie's true financial status has been in question for some time. In April, Mona, along with several producers and music industry execs and insiders who do business with Stevie, were subpoenaed by Project Child Support (a non-profit which aids custodial parents in seeking funds owed for child support), to determine his true "income and revenue sources."

Joseline And Stevie Abuse Claims

Last night Joseline Hernandez posted some upsetting images on twitter and claimed her husband Stevie J is physically abusive towards her! Even more shocking the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star claimed that producer Mona Scott Young told her to hide the abuse!

After sharing the bruised images and insisting she was telling the truth, Joseline featured a photo of her hand full of pills, captioning it: "Crushn up a line of coke tonight."

Warning: the images below feature a bruised Joseline, if you are sensitive to such images please do not continue reading.

I'm curious…do you think VH1 and Mona Scott Young really, truly believe that viewers think Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is a reality show? The acting is fantastically tragic and there is nothing real about it…except for that sex tape, clearly.

Nikko didn't tell Mimi Faust about his confrontation with Stevie J. immediately after it happened, but he spills the beans when they are driving the next day. When she learns that Nikko has told her ex about the deal Vivid, she has to pull over to read Nikko the riot act.  She is cruising in her new vehicle (thanks, Steven Hirsch!), and Mimi doesn't want to wreck it when she wrecks him. As she cusses up a storm, Nikko just laughs that Stevie shouldn't get her riled up like this. Mimi tries to kick him out of her ride, but when he refuses, she's the one who storms off on foot.

Lil' Scrappy is eating eggs with Erica P…or at least he hopes to be scrambling some things with her. He arrives at her house to find out that she's lit candles and served wine, and he wonders whether he's there to pray or have sex. Scrappy is a bit nervous, but he wants to be a better person. He is feeling guilty about Bambi and he wants to think with this head and not his hiz-ead. Scrappy shuts down Erica's advances, complimenting her that he'd definitely be with her if he didn't already have Bambi. And they say romance is dead!

Please accept my sincerest apology. I dropped the ball in a major way! How did I not know that my favorite new scripted show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta was on twice this week? Since the recap is already a day late, let's just dive right in to the insanity, shall we?

Joseline Hernandez goes to Stevie J.'s man cave to continue to nag him about Mimi Faust's friends being all up in their business. Does she just wander around in lingerie all the time? Seriously, the sets, the lighting, the costumes, the horrible acting–this is NOT reality television! Stevie ignores his bride while surfing the Internet, and lo and behold! He's just happens across the blog story that shares Mimi's "leaked" sex tape with Nikko. Talk about coincidence!

Next, I was literally about to give up on all things Mona Scott Young when I saw just how bad Karlie Redd's acting is until I learned that she is supposed to be acting because she's in a "movie" now called 30 Days in Atlanta. Someone call Sundance!  Karlie is so thrilled to be in a relationship with Yung Joc. Not only is he younger and more successful than Benzino, he has a neck! Yung also doesn't like drama. She tap dances between making out with him and accusing him of cheating since he's wearing the same clothes she saw him in yesterday. Karlie thinks the best way to keep tabs on him is to for them to move in together. That is a GREAT idea!
