Slave Smiley has repeatedly denied being employed by his girlfriend Gretchen Rossi – he has also never really revealed where exactly he is employed. Back in his heyday when he was an American Express Black Card holder and kind of a big deal in the OC, Slade was a business man of sorts. Well when the economy tanked so too did his career prospects which began his rather unlucrative venture of latching onto the ladies of Real Housewives of Orange County!
As of recently, Slave has seemingly been acting as Gretchen’s manager of sorts and now he – or rather Gretchen – is campaigning for a stint on Celebrity Apprentice!
Yesterday some delusional admiring fans mentioned that Gretchen should be CA’s next Housewives member, Gretchen suggested Slave would be better suited for the gig (she, herself, is angling for a spot on Dancing With The Stars) and henceforth a Twitter campaign going by the name #Smiley4Apprentice popped up. Good lawd… help me.
There don’t seem to be too many takers so far, but never underestimate the power of a hashtag!

Moving on, days after a report emerged that his wife Shayne Lamas may be the newest candidate to join RHOC, Nik Richie took to his infamous and frankly frightening website, The Dirty, to simmer the rumors down. Nik didn’t outright deny them, but, per the Bravo norm, he played coy.
Just so you lovely readers know I visited The Dirty for my first and last time to procure this link and this bit of news. So consider yourself lucky that I didn’t force you to go over there yourselves. And now I need a shower and some Lysol.
“To be honest, I’m not sure if we qualify for this show. I’m married and not a dead beat dad. Plus, I have never seen the movie Cocoon (isn’t that where Brooks [Ayers] is from??),” Nik wrote in response to the gossip. He even cited our story on Reality Tea as where the rumor was scooped. Thanks, but no thanks!
And moving on, Tamra Barney has once again blabbed a big secret. At last Tuesday’s WinesbyWives launch Tamra shared that Briana Culberson is definitely expecting! “Yeah, Briana’s pregnant,” Tamra dished to AllAboutTheRealHousewives.
Vicki Gunvalson is still not confirming the news, but according to Us Weekly she is “excited” to be a grandmother. Briana is said to be about four months along. She and husband Ryan Culberson will allegedly be celebrating their nuptials this weekend. “Briana is really happy, and now that Vicki knows, she’s really excited too,” a source reveals.
Finally, tonight is an all-new episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. Briana and Vicki continue to have difficulties with each other’s relationships. Alexis has an odd announcement at her daughters’ birthday party. And drama over Gretchen’s impending engagement continues! A preview of the new episode is below!
