Even though it’s still pretty early on in this season of Real Housewives of Orange County, it seems like Kelly Dodd will end up screaming and insulting people at every big event. So at this point, it isn’t surprising that Kelly ended up stealing the spotlight at a party that was supposed to honor Meghan King Edmonds and her impending pregnancy.
Kelly took the drama to the next level – which again is not at all surprising – when she decided to use the dreaded “C” word as an insult toward Shannon Beador. I would also like to point out that this wasn’t even a turned up party. It was supposed to be a nice, relaxed dinner to serve as Meghan’s last time eating sushi and drinking alcohol before she got pregnant. So it was supposed to be a pretty chill occasion. Not only was Meghan’s celebration ruined, but Shannon obviously takes issue with Kelly using the nasty “C” word in her honor.

Obviously Shannon cannot stand Kelly, so when Kelly started throwing around the “C” word against her, Shannon was understandably peeved.
Shannon spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the incident.

Weirdly enough, this is the third time that Shannon and Kelly went at each other this season and Shannon revealed that it actually happened in a super short period of time: “All of these things happened in less than a week’s period. I was pretty much done. It was like, round three! Ready for round three!” Wow. What an awful week.
On the bright side, all this drama does a lot to ensure that Kelly and Shannon get asked back for the next season – which is why I think Kelly is a constant shit stirrer in the first place, but anyway… At the same time, I feel like a lot of people would have been upset if they were called a prostitute, which Shannon‘s friend did say about Kelly so I can see why she was all riled up.
Shannon also said, “I’ve never been called that word before. So, there’s a first time for everything.” I can tell it is a word that Kelly loves to use, so I would not be surprised to hear it often throughout the season.

How did Shannon feel about Kelly‘s behavior? “It was a very vicious attack. Everyone in the room was shaken up after it. That’s all I have to say. I don’t know where it comes from. I don’t have any explanations.”
Well, Shannon‘s friends attacked Kelly at that ’70s party and spread rumors about her being a prostitute – so I have a feeling it might have a little something to do with that.
