Last night’s Watch What Happens Live was a riot! Andy Cohen chatted with guests Vicki Gunvalson and Sonja Morgan, who was filling in at the last minute for Kristen Chenowith, who was ill. During the show, Sonja declared that “everyone knows” about Dorinda Medley‘s drug use, dished on Luann’s bridal shower and more. Vicki talked about her new man and also dished on Luann de Lesseps. Andy dug up an Instagram pic from last year of Vicki out with Luann de Lesseps and the infamous Rey. “Luann and I got in a fight that because she thought that I wanted him! I’m like ‘I don’t want him, he’s yours!’ and she got mad at me! I don’t know who he is, but she was like ‘keep your hands off of him.’ He was all over me and she was like ‘we’re going right now’!” Vicki asks Andy again who this guy is and Andy says it’s way too long of a story.
Sonja then says that he (Rey) was out with her and Shannon Beador and Dr. Paul Nassif. In the midst of the banter, Vicki says that at some point at some point, Luann left with Paul, “after that guy (Rey) didn’t want anything to do with her.” Vicki says she had no idea what was going on and went back to her room. She says Rey tried hard to get her number and told her she was beautiful. Andy wants to know WHO wound up going home with Rey, Sonja giggled as Vicki teased her, but says she “did not have sexual relations with that man.”
Sonja then confuses Andy further by sharing that she has been on the cover of Rey’s magazine, “Rey has a magazine?!” Sonja says she thought Lu was dating Rey to get on the cover of the magazine. Sonja didn’t know Rey at the time she shot her cover, though.
On staying neutral in the Ireland fight tonight, Vicki says “I did, I purposefully stayed neutral because I really love Kelly and I was trying to get back in the social graces with all the other women. For me it was just a good place to say ‘I’m out of it, it has nothing to do with me.'”
Andy grills Sonja for details on Luann’s bridal shower. She got the dates mixed up and was in the middle of a mani pedi and rushed out to the party – with saran wrap on her feet. Sonja confirms that Jill Zarin was at the shower and was getting along with everyone. Sonja and Dorinda were the only two from RHONY that were invited, but she reveals that she’s not speaking to Dorinda. Why? “Because she’s totally duplicitous, lied about everything and she’s a total fake, that’s why.”
A caller asks if Dorinda was mad at Sonja for the drug accusations she put out there during the reunion taping. “Oh I don’t think she liked that very much, but everyone knows, so I didn’t see what the harm was. Everyone knows.”
Does Vicki think Tamra is being hypocritical regarding children being off limits? “Yes. She talks about everybody else’s family, but the minute you talk about her or her family, her kids, her husband, she goes crazy.”
A viewer remarks that Vicki is the one who started everything with Kelly by complaining about the nose boob joke to Tamra. “Well we all were a little bugged at the nose boob but that doesn’t make me want to yell at her or scream at her. I just didn’t like it. It was not just me that was bugged.”
A caller asks Sonja if she knew anything about Dorinda hitting the guy with a shoe. “I’ve always said everything comes out in the wash, doesn’t it? Once a hypocrite, always a hypocrite.” She then says one of the men involved was a good friend of hers and she feels bad he got caught in the middle of it. Sonja then says “Dorinda went from one drunken lunch to the next thing at The Regency in the middle of the day.” Andy interupts and says “do you people JUST hang out at The Regency?” Sonja says that her daughter grew up going to The Regency for very special events – Sunday brunch and celebrations. You don’t go to The Regency to make out with people like Luann’s fiance or take your heels off and spike someone in the head. That’s not what you do at The Regency.”
Does Sonja think Tom and Lu will make it down the aisle? “Oh I’m sure. She’s gonna make sure hell or high water that’s happening. I mean, she could catch me with Tom and still marry him.” Andy then says “but you would never get caught with Tom..” And Sonja jokes “I never get caught!” But then she reiterates that she wouldn’t do that to Luann even though Luann went out with a lot of HER boyfriends.
How did Vicki feel about Tamra interrogating her new boyfriend? “It comes with the territory. I already pre-warned him that the girls might interrogate you because I’ve had a past of picking bad people. He was okay with it but it was awkward for me because it was like date #3.” She says they’re still together and he’s amazing. “It’s like God gave him. My mom sent him down. He’s incredible. My tank is full.”
Sonja confirms that she’s still not drinking. She had a drink here and there when she was in France, but no partying.
Ryan hasn’t gone to work for Vicki. He’s still in Oklahoma waiting for his release. Briana has been diagnosed but Vicki doesn’t want to talk about it, but says that Briana is getting better.
