Andy Cohen Predicts Bethenny Frankel Could Eventually Return To Real Housewives: “We Are Much Like The Mob”

When it comes to Bethenny Frankel‘s sudden departure from The Real Housewives of New York City, Andy Cohen‘s feeling nothing but love.

On the Wednesday, September 4 episode of Andy Cohen Live, his SiriusXM show on Radio Andy, the Bravo boss spoke out for the first time regarding Bethenny quitting the show that made her a household name.

“My overwhelming feeling about Bethenny leaving RHONY, and I told her this six weeks ago were she going to leave, [is] that I am so grateful that she came back,” he said during the broadcast.

As longtime fans know, Bethenny walked away from the show for the first time after Season 3 to film two spinoffs — Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After — and her short-lived eponymous talk show. She made her grand return four years later in Season 7.

“She already left, is what we need to remember,” Andy continued. “We were so lucky to have these last seasons with her on it. And it was just so fun to have her back and she brought so much to the show that I am just living in the gratitude of her second return.”

When it comes to leaving the Housewives, Andy likened the franchise to being “much like the mob — you can’t get out.” This self-described mob mentality gives Andy hope for Bethenny to once again return in the future when the time is right.

She’s now…she’s still a part of everything that’s still going on that you almost could see her dropping in and it’s like, ‘Oh my god! Okay! Bethenny‘s at a party! Bethenny’s on this trip!’ You never know.

At the end of the day, Andy promised that Bethenny is welcome back in front of the Bravo cameras whenever she wants.
