The drama report is calling for plenty of shade on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and I am here for it. Kenya Moore is back for Season 12 and already stirring things up on the show. And so is Cynthia Bailey, who is trying to be friends with both Kenya and Eva Marcille. Good luck with that, Cynthia!
Kenya’s Barbie-themed party to introduce baby Brooklyn was the starting point of a rift between new mommy Porsha Williams, and expectant mommy (at that time) Eva. Cynthia had my favorite costume—thirsty bridal Barbie. Eva attended as least amount of effort for costume work-out Barbie but left her kids at home. Porsha later told Kenya that Eva didn’t bring her kids because Eva didn’t trust Kenya around her children.
According to HollywoodLife, Eva went off about Porsha during the second episode of RHOA. “Porsha just had a baby and I tiptoed around her whole little feelings. Porsha may want to stay all the way up out of my business. She still got her C-section healing and she over here worried about somebody else’s babies,” Eva said.
Porsha took to Instagram to respond to Eva. “We never lose friends. We simply learn who the real ones are,” Porsha wrote with a snake emoji. She also unfollowed Eva. Ouch!

A source told HollywoodLife that Porsha “was bent out of shape because she saw Eva explain her reason for not bringing her kids to Kenya’s party and felt that Eva told two different stories.” How does a Barbie party cause this much trouble among grown women? A group of five-year-olds would have less squabbling.
“The sad thing is that Eva and Porsha were getting along amazingly well and so were Kenya and Eva,” the insider said. “Porsha has used a snake to signify Eva before, so Porsha using a snake in her shade on social this week seems to signify Eva,” the source stated.

HollywoodLife reported that Eva clapped back during an appearance on The Real. Eva said, “I don’t understand what the problem is about where I bring my kids or don’t bring my kids. They’re my kids! It’s my discretion.” True.
“I appreciate everyone having their own opinion, but at the end of the day, I had a kid, it was in utero because I was pregnant. But I had a flight notice, I left early from the event because I had a flight to catch…It really wasn’t that deep,” Eva explained. “My kids don’t know her kids yet. It was not shade at all. They really made a mountain out of a molehill.” This story does sound a bit different than the original one that Eva told Porsha.

“My kids were in school! [Kenya and I] don’t have a friendship yet. I don’t know you to take my kids out of school that I pay for,” Eva added.
Adding to all this drama is the fact that both Kenya and Porsha are dealing with relationship issues. Porsha temporarily kicked fiancé Dennis McKinley to the curb for cheating on her while she was pregnant. And Kenya was grappling with her own marital issues with her husband Marc Daly. While Porsha and Dennis reunited, Kenya and Marc called it quits.

RHOA Season 12 looks like everyone has a good storyline, and there is a ton of shade to go around.
