Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan were the first Below Deck couple that we got to see live and work together. Most often, a coupled crew member had someone on land that they either stay faithful to or pulled the “open relationship card” like Rob Westergaard.
But Paget and Ciara were together on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. All. The. Time. They gave off an old married couple vibe with tons of bickering and squabbling, but they were also really in tune with each other and had tender moments as well. Ciara was so confident in Paget’s feelings for her that she endured an entire season of Georgia Grobler flirting with her man without batting an eyelash, confident that Paget would never stray.
It looks like Ciara’s intuition about Paget was spot on because they are now officially engaged. Ciara posted the exciting news to her Instagram on Thursday. She and Paget posted the same picture of themselves kissing aboard a sailboat. Paget said,”I did a thing,” while Ciara wrote, “well folks, it finally happened.” She also posted a video of the proposal. They are in front of a fountain and Paget gets down on one knee. It’s inaudible because of the water, but Ciara’s delight indicated a clear yes!
The ring is stunning. It looks like an uncut diamond surrounded by some other gems. One follower suggested Murano, but Ciara did not divulge the details on her new bling.

Many alums of the show posted words of support for the newly engaged couple. Kasey Cohen said, “congrats love birds!” Colin Macy O’Toole added, “congrats you guys!!” Published author June Foster wrote, “all of the love in the world for you two! Congratulations to the rest of your happiest of lives.” Rhylee Gerber also sent her well-wishes while Anastasia Surmava posted, “STFU!!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! YASSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Congrats guys!!!”
Cast members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht also chimed in. Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray wrote, “so excited for you guys!! You deserve all the love in the world.” Parker McCown, who had a difficult time working under Paget and Ciara, simply said, “congratulations.”
