The most recent episode of Below Deck Mediterranean is the episode that just keeps on giving. Every day, there’s more to the story and more people from the Below Deck universe sharing their hot takes.
There is just so much to unpack from that episode, but, among other things, Malia White pushed everyone to switch up their cabin arrangements just so Malia could sleep in the same room as her boyfriend Tom Checketts for two weeks. She had the nerve to call Hannah Ferrier “unprofessional” when all she wanted to do was continue the level of peace she had with Bugsy Drake, which would never last if they had to live together.
Even Bugsy felt the same way, but Malia villainized Hannah and went to Captain Sandy Yawn. Sandy never ran the decision by Hannah or asked for her opinion. Instead, she just announced that the decision was made over the radio. As a result, the Below Deck Med fans were livid and Below Deck alums have opinions as well. Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars Ciara Duggan and Jenna MacGillivray have a lot to say and they are #TeamHannah.
Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan were the first Below Deck couple that we got to see live and work together. Most often, a coupled crew member had someone on land that they either stay faithful to or pulled the “open relationship card” like Rob Westergaard.
But Paget and Ciara were together on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. All. The. Time. They gave off an old married couple vibe with tons of bickering and squabbling, but they were also really in tune with each other and had tender moments as well. Ciara was so confident in Paget’s feelings for her that she endured an entire season of Georgia Grobler flirting with her man without batting an eyelash, confident that Paget would never stray.
Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan’s relationship is probably the first long-standing boat-mance that we’ve encountered on any Below Deck show. Watching their interactions, though, it really feels like the relationship has passed the point of expiration. Despite the endless bickering on deck and Paget’s ongoing laundry room flirtations with Georgia Grobler, these two are still going strong in real-time. So maybe it’s a trick of editing on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
Either way, we know that Georgia’s confession of her feelings to Paget AND Ciara next episode will not yield the results that she may have expected.
Well the day has finally arrived when Jenna MacGillivray and Adam Glick pushed things too far on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Karma, my friends, is blowing in the winds!
I just cannot even with the sheer ridiculousness of Jenna and Adam. Here is Jenna abandoning her job to the underlings – literally leaving a third stew with little serving experience to manage a table full of guests – while she goes and has a conversation with Adam about the wall he has built around himself to keep out love. IT HAS BEEN SIX WEEKS.
I get it — being on yacht time is like being in a time warp where the normal rules don’t exist. I mean, we’ve had people demanding tickets to Prague and all sorts of hootenanny over yachtmances, but Jenna takes the case!
There’s a new episode of The Adam and Jenna Show on tonight. I mean, there’s a new episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on tonight. And, of course, that means more of Adam Glick and Jenna MacGillivray’s relationship drama. If a relationship is this difficult at the beginning, then it probably isn’t gonna work out in the long-term, yet here we are, suffering through this every day.
On tonight’s episode, Adam and Jenna decide to take a nap together during her break, which is probably gonna cause some drama. And she had the nerve to say Madison Stalker was unprofessional. Oh, the irony.
Was there ever a boat-mance with a happy ending on any of the Below Deck shows? Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan don’t really count because they’ve just been living in some kind of time warp, stuck on Parsifal with no other options. They bicker like a married couple and flirt like adolescents. But they are the best we’ve got.
No other couple has worked out once the boat docked and they had to face the real world together. Aesha Scott and Jack Stirrup had promise on Below Deck Mediterranean last season. Until he returned to his ex-girlfriend and they had a child together. Hannah Ferrier gave it a go with Conrad Empson. They didn’t even make it to the end of the season as a result of her emasculating and belittling comments towards him about money. Malia White played two guys at once, one of them being our very own, Chef Adam Glick. Now Adam is in the middle of another turbulent relationship that isn’t looking it’s going to end happily.
It’s official – Adam Glick is a bad omen. There he was whistling, whistling, whistling…. all throughout the entire episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and everywhere he blew a tune bad luck soon followed.
Georgia Grobler is secretly in love with Paget Berry, one half of an incestuous set of twins, but in order to keep the on-board harmony Georgia is forced to succumb to a date with Chris Miller, a sunny side up egg in a carton of hard boiled.
Jenna MacGillivray just wants Adam to love her, however the more she begs the more he rolls up the windows on his trusty traveling van and puts up a “No Emotional Vacancies” sign. Madison Stalker just wants to be understood, and appreciated, and loved, and accepted and all the things one will not find in the storage hull of a super yacht. Captain Glenn Shephard just wants to have the perfect sail, but in his quest for an uncomplicated voyage he finds himself throttled by the wind.
Last night’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht was a battle for the most annoying egos. Starting with charter guest Lyndi, whose voice had a fabricated squeakiness I assume she thinks is cute and charming, but actually sounds like a five-year-old in Suzuki violin lessons. Then there was Adam Glick. Someone please just drop him in a barren wasteland, far from any females for the remainder of his days.
Lyndi is on this trip with her boyfriend Jesse, who she decidedly does not love. Maybe she did love him until she tasted Adam… Adam’s food that is. It’s probably that Lyndi mostly eschews calories, so being around the decadence of Adam’s cooking which contain *gasp* fat grams has her in a state of arousal.
After arguing with Jesse at dinner because she won’t stop openly hitting on Adam, Lyndi and her pal sneak down to the galley to harass him. Jenna MacGillivray is standing right there, watching as these OC wannabe Barbies throw themselves at him. Adam always seems like he smells like grease and fish – uck.
