Naomie Olindo Admits “Begging” For Southern Charm Return

I can’t wait for the return of Southern Charm. It’s been a long hot Charleston minute. Thanks though to new spinoff (crossover? lovechild?) Winter House, we at least get to check in with some of our fav’s during Summer House. Say what you will, but the hot mess triangle between Austen Kroll, Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard is certainly giving us plenty of play in the meantime.

I miss the rest of the gang. I need to know more about Madison Lecroy‘s new boo, and why she all of a sudden wants to keep her relationship on the DL. Didn’t she get all pressed about Cameran Eubanks doing the same thing? I also need some Patricia Altschul caftan time. Not to mention a Michael Kelcourse update. Anyone?

However, the best news to come out of the South Carolina grapevine, is the return of Naomie Olindo. Fresh off her embarrassing break-up with cheater Metul Shah, according to Us Weekly, Naomie has returned to film and broken her silence to talk all about it.

As you might recall, Naomie was closest to Cameran before her departure. In part, due to the fact that Cameran’s husband, Jason Wimberly worked with Metul. Cameran loved Metul. Something I never understood… remember how he made Naomie feel bad about eating. Hello Red Flag. Thankfully, Cameran isn’t on the show anymore, so we won’t have to hear her gushing.

Naomie confirmed that Metul was behind her leaving Southern Charm in the first place. “He’s doctor, you know, those two things don’t really go hand in hand, and he was a resident and he needed to apply for fellowships. I was totally willing to give up the show for what I thought to be a healthy and loving relationship, because that’s what I would prioritize over a reality show, obviously.”  Ouch, that has to hurt.

Naomie was quick to point out that at the time, “I had no problem doing that, but then when it ended up not being a healthy and loving relationship, I was like, ‘OK, well I’m single’ [and] the show opens doors for so many opportunities business-wise and stuff.” Hopefully this is a lesson learned. Girl, you don’t give up who you are or what you are doing for any relationship.

Naomie went on to admit that it wasn’t an easy road to her comeback. “I had to like beg my way back. I was like, ‘Guys, please. I know I quit, and I know I told everybody to f–k off, but please I’m very depressed and I really want to come back. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I’m back in Charleston’ and they’re like, ‘All right.”

I’m just spit balling here, but I’m willing to guess that they were more than happy to have you back. Especially when you are ready to spill all the Metul tea. According to Naomie, since “everybody already knows what happened,” there was no issue sharing it on camera. “Why not?” Why not indeed?

And let’s not forget, with the now officially Instagram official coupling of Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo there is sure to be some pillow fighting, if you will. I can’t think of a better time for Naomie to return, even if she and Craig are apparently a-ok.

TELL US- ARE YOU EXCITED FOR THE NEXT SEASON OF SOUTHERN CHARM? ARE YOU GLAD TO SEE NAOMIE BACK ON THE SHOW? DID YOU SEE THE SPLIT WITH METUL COMING?
