It’s no secret that Rihanna is a housewives fan. She previously sent Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay a DM on Instagram. It simply read, “I’m obsessed with you!” No doubt, that would have made my day. Or my month. Or year, really. Clearly, RiRi also pays attention to Real Housewives of New York. Leah McSweeney revealed that they DM back and forth on occasion. Said Leah, “We’ve DM’d back and forth. I met her at an after party for the Met Gala one year.”
But aside from her favorites, looks like Rihanna also has some housewives that she’s not really into. After Erika Jayne’s legal scandals, RiRi dropped her as a model for her Savage x Fenty lingerie line. Ramona Singer ended up on RiRi’s bad side when she dissed Leah’s clothing line.

Leah told Ramona, “You’re not exactly my demographic so it’s all good. I already have Rihanna wearing my shit. You think I need you wearing my shit?” And RiRi jumped in to defend Leah, posting a picture to Instagram wearing Leah’s line of clothing and the caption, “what was said @ramonasinger? #RHONY.” Whew. I was skeptical about Leah’s claims about their friendship but Leah really showed that Rihanna doesn’t play around when it comes to supporting her favs.
Now that Rihanna is pregnant, she’s taking inspiration from other housewives who have kids. As reported by Page Six, at one of her beauty events, RiRi was asked which housewives mother she would look to for inspiration. Said Rihanna, “Heather Dubrow is so chic while being a mom. Just love the way that she just allows her kids to be who they are. And that’s really inspiring to me.” I agree with her that the Real Housewives of Orange County star is a fabulous mother, despite maybe not being the nicest housewife.

RiRi also cited Real Housewives of New Jersey ultimate OG Teresa Giudice as a mother she would emulate. She explained, “But Teresa from ‘Jersey’ does not play about her kids. She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot.” It’s not surprising that Rihanna would look up to Teresa’s style of motherhood when she also admitted, “I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it.” And if anyone talks about her baby, “It’s over.” We stan a protective Mama Bear!
Either way, feeling fab during pregnancy is hard for even the biggest stars. Rihanna revealed of life in her third trimester, “There’s a pregnancy glow. There’s also those days, girl. Especially in the third trimester, where you wake up and you’re like, ‘Oh, do I have to get dressed?’” No doubt RiRi will make a fantastic mom. And hopefully raise another little housewives fan.
