One of the exciting things about BravoCon is the potential for cross-franchise drama. A Real Housewives of New Jersey star might not normally interact with a Vanderpump Rules cast member, but at BravoCon, anything is possible.
So, at BravoCon 2023, Lala Kent was asked which Bravolebrity she wouldn’t want to be stuck in an elevator with. She gave Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas as answers. On her podcast after the convention, she recalled saying, “If I was in there with Giudice and Louie, which is her husband it would be a real f*cking nightmare.”
Teresa was reportedly not all that happy with the remarks. On the November 10 episode of Namaste B$tches, Teresa admitted she didn’t “know why [Lala] would say that.” It would seem Lala also questioned her words after the fact.
Lala says she was “projecting” when dissing Teresa
On the November 8 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, the Vanderpump Rules star explained that she reached out to Teresa soon after the convention. “I ended up apologizing to her,” she said. “Teresa has been nothing but kind to me, always.” Lala also addressed remarks she once made about Luis, saying she felt “nervous” about him
“I said something about her husband, Louie, in the past,” she explained, “and whether Louie is a great guy, not a great guy, doesn’t matter. I don’t know him. I’ve watched him on TV. I know that when I’ve said ‘hi’ to him in the past, he has been kind.” In her apology DM, Lala reportedly said, “I’m working on it, I know that I project. I have nothing but respect for you.”
Tre said on her podcast that she appreciated the apology. “She had DMed me and apologized for it. So, yeah, I’m glad,” she explained. Both parties confirmed the beef was squashed. Lala also noted she felt the need to apologize because she and Teresa “share a hair person,” who “is very loyal to Teresa.”
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 airs in January 2024 on Bravo, and RHONJ will return in 2024 as well.
