Vanderpump Rules fans have a somewhat complicated history with Scheana Shay. The star is often given the villain edit from season to season, and many fans have accused her of being a bad friend to other cast members.
Scheana scored some points with viewers when she rallied behind Ariana Madix in the wake of Scandoval (though, they were the easiest points she ever scored). However, many have raised eyebrows once again after her time spent with Tom Sandoval during a BravoCon 2023 afterparty.
Scheana has since tried to take control of the narrative. She claimed that even though she did go party with Tom, she also went off on him after he dragged her name through the press. But now, Scheana has found herself embroiled in another BravoControversy.
Scheana would “never say no to a photo” at BravoCon
After BravoCon, a rumor began circulating that fans had to purchase a physical copy of her album, “Good As Gold,” to take a picture with her. Scheana addressed these rumors on her podcast, explaining that her album was for sale during the convention, but not a requirement to take pictures.
She did, however, admit that those who bought records got more time with her. “We do the photos ops where people just line up. They get their photos. It’s a very quick meet and greet,” she explained. “When I spent my time in the booth [selling records], I, obviously, was prioritizing people who bought vinyls and wanted them signed. And I was taking photos with them.”
She continued, “And then any time I had left over before I had to get to the next panel, or whatever, I would stop. I would take photos.” She further iterated that she would “never say no to a photo,” but also acknowledged how security wouldn’t “let [her] stop” when going from point A to point B through the convention.
