Lisa Vanderpump Thinks Jax Taylor ‘Needs To Be Put In His Place’

Any Vanderpump Rules stan knows Lisa Vanderpump isn’t the biggest fan of Jax Taylor. And in a new interview, she’s speaking out about his long-awaited return to the series in Season 11, airing January 30 on Bravo.

During the explosive VPR trailer, which showcases the aftermath of Scandoval, Jax makes a surprising return. In the teaser, the former SURver bumped heads with an unsuspected co-star — Lisa. “You wrote me off!” a clip showed him shouting at his ex-boss.

“You saw the trailer. … I called him a f*cking hypocrite, I think it was,” Lisa told Entertainment Tonight. “Sometimes he needs to be put in his place, and I am probably the one to do it.”

What’s Jax Taylor been up to since leaving Vanderpump Rules?

Although the No. 1 guy of the group’s return to Vanderpump Rules is just a cameo, the legendary reality TV villain has been booked and busy since his time away from the group. In 2023, Jax starred alongside other celebs, including Johnny Bananas, Tanisha Thomas, Tiffany Pollard, and Omarosa, in E!’s newest competition show, House of Villains

He didn’t bring home the $200,000 grand prize; however, once he discovered why he was voted off, being the first to leave was less of a shot to his ego.

“I asked everybody, I go, at the premiere party, ‘Was there a reason you guys voted me off? Was there a reason to zap me?’ They’re like, ‘No, Jax, you’re actually the nicest guy of all. We just — look at you. You’re six feet tall, you’re built, you’re aggressive, you’re an alpha male. All you want to do is win. The people that look like you get voted off first,’” he said.

Another new adventure Jax will embark on in 2024 is the premiere of his new VPR spinoff, The Valley. The series will air sometime this spring and feature Jax’s wife, Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, and some of their close friends trading “bottle service … for baby bottles in the Valley.”

Of course, we expect nothing less from this new series than hot couples, explosive feuds, and, hopefully, something new that will stand the test of time.

Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo on January 30 at 8/7c.
