Below Deck legend Kate Chastain recently revealed who she thought would be great for The Traitors, the reality television show that pits Traitors against Faithful in a battle of deception for the ultimate cash prize. And her choices weren’t too surprising.
The reveal came on Watch What Happens Live when Kate was asked by viewers who she thought would kill it (pun intended) on Traitors, and her mind immediately went to the big traitors in the reality TV world. Andy Cohen reminded her that there might be others who may do well on the larger than life murder mystery game.
Kate wants Bravolebrities who are real-life traitors
“I think that fairly obviously, Austen (Kroll) and Taylor (Ann Green) would be great answers,” Kate shared immediately. “Or Austen and also Tom Sandoval,” she added.
No surprise there; Austen and Tom are famously known for betraying the women in their life. So it’s not a stretch to think they could do well on a reality show about being traitors. However, it’s important to note that both men were famously caught and called out! Stealth and discretion may not be their strong suits…
“Yeah, those are the obvious answers,” Kate added. She paused briefly and added, “I think that Katie Maloney, maybe. There’s something about her.”
Andy agreed and added that he thought Vanderpump Rules was a vastly untapped market for the Traitors franchise. He thinks there could be multiple success stories from the show if they played.
“I think that Lala (Kent) would be great,” Andy said. ‘I think she would be really good.”
Kate agreed with that one immediately. “Lala would kill anything she does. She would take over the castle, she would take over the castle in five minutes,” Kate nodded.
Perhaps it’s time the Traitors’ producers give her a call!
