Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marital problems have been front and center on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And it doesn’t look like there are any improvements on that front. In fact, Kyle has said that her husband hasn’t been stepping up for their relationship. And if you are hoping that viewers will get some answers at the Season 13 RHOBH reunion, you are not alone. Erika Jayne would like her bestie Kyle to be grilled.
Kyle was hurt by Erika’s comment that she wanted Kyle to be “eviscerated”
When Erika was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, she told host Andy Cohen that she wanted to see Kyle in the hot seat. “As somebody who got eviscerated, I would like to see everybody get the same treatment. I love her,” Erika said. “She’s a dear friend of mine, but fair is fair.”
As for Andy, he had no doubts that Kyle would be open and honest at the reunion. We can all dream, right? “My plan is never to eviscerate anyone, but I always ask the questions that need to be asked,” Andy stated. “Kyle has been very forthcoming with me since we wrapped filming about where she is with Mauricio.”
Kyle understood where Erika was coming from … kind of
Welp, Kyle wasn’t happy about her friend’s remarks. “With Erika, with all the years she’s been on the show, and she’s been my friend, she’s never stabbed me in the back,” Kyle told E! News. “She’s always been supportive and I really trust her. And I consider her a friend. And I, honestly — I’m not going to lie that stung. It hurt me.”
She continued, “Because I’m having hard week as it is. So I was a little sensitive when I heard that.”
Kyle acknowledged that Erika gave her a warning before WWHL aired. “I believe that she went through such a hard time last year,” Kyle explained. “She was just kind of saying [to Andy], ‘You basically tortured me. Torture everyone else the same.’” Andy grilled Erika about the alleged crimes of her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. For her part, Kyle has forgiven Erika for her comment.
It seems like a strange thing to say about your good friend. But maybe Erika was just being Erika. After giving up arguing with her co-stars for Lent, maybe she was making up for lost time.
