Brittany Cartwright seemed pretty shocked to learn about a recent choice from Jax Taylor over on his Instagram. For those who somehow aren’t in the know, the couple recently became estranged after a veil-lifting fight between the two.
The former Vanderpump Rules stars have been on quite the journey to reach their current points. It’s almost hard to remember the Jax from the show’s first season – the Jax who was dating Stassi Schroeder.
Now, Jax and Brittany have their own spinoff show, The Valley – a show that’s gotten quite a bit of buzz thanks to their ongoing issues. And based on Jax’s recent Instagram activity, it would seem he’s not looking to resolve these issues.
Does Jax wish he married Stassi instead of Brittany?
Brittany recently appeared on the April 9 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch. During their chat, Amanda asked, “Did you see that he liked a comment somebody left on one of his Instagrams saying, ‘You should have married Stassi?’” Brittany responded with a laughing “What?”
Amanda then added, “He liked it.” With further amusement, Brittany asked, “He liked it?” Amanda asked if such behavior wasn’t weird to which Brittany agreed, “Very weird. That is so creepy.” She laughed a bit more, perhaps out of awkwardness, or perhaps out of pure shock. The Bye Wig Hello Drama X account posted a confirming screenshot of Jax’s like.
Longtime fans will recall when Stassi and Jax were together back in Season 1. Funny how the IG commenter said Jax ‘should have married Stassi,’ as if he hadn’t ruined that relationship from the onset. The two broke up in 2012 due to infidelity on Jax’s part. They got back together briefly the year later before calling it quits for good in Season 2.
