Ariana Madix Politely Refuses Brock Davies’ Advice; Questions Why ‘Male Rage’ Isn’t Addressed

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is still on a roll. She and business partner/bestie Katie Maloney shared that their long-awaited sandwich shop, Something About Her, will open in a few weeks.

And then news broke that Season 12 of Pump Rules won’t be filming this summer. Andy Cohen thought it was “a very good idea” for the show to take a breather. Fans forget that cameras started filming just months after Ariana learned that her boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was cheating on her with Rachel Leviss. The result? A still-furious Ariana. And co-star Brock Davies trying to mend fences.

Ariana isn’t giving in and forgiving Sandoval

During the most recent episode of VPR, Brock asked Ariana if she ever thought that she could be civil with Sandoval. He wanted to know because his wifey, Scheana Shay, is torn between the two exes. Ariana said no.

“Forgiveness isn’t accepting what he’s done. Forgiveness is like giving yourself the ability to focus on the good things that you have going on around you,” Brock stated. Isn’t Brock the philosophical peacemaker this season?

“Absolutely. But in order to like move on happily with your life and focus on the good you 100 percent do not have to forgive anyone who has traumatized you,” Ariana replied. Brock agreed.

“You can just be like, ‘No. F*ck off.’ There’s power to me in hurt and in anger and in female emotion and being able to have that and not being put in this position of you have to take the high road. Or be stoic,” Ariana explained. “Or be quote-unquote strong at every moment in order to have power. I think there’s power in all those emotions. And I stand by that,” she added.

Then Brock responded, “I mean, I can’t speak for women. So, I can’t even comment on that part.” But Ariana wasn’t done. “There never seems to be an issue with male rage but female rage. Ooh, we love to have a problem with that,” she commented. Valid point.

“Give me an example of male rage,” Brock said with a laugh. “I see men raising their voices all the time. And it’s kind of like not really a thought,” the Chicago actress remarked. Cue the montage of all the men of Pump Rules screaming, including Brock.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules airs on Tuesday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
