Stassi Schroeder is a busy wife, mom of two, and reality TV personality. She shares daughter Hartford and son Messer with her husband, Beau Clark. In addition, their family life will be featured on Stassi’s new reality series, House of Stassi. While Stassi is comfortable living her life on camera, this time she will be doing so as a mom.
Stassi opens up about the “isolation” of motherhood
Meanwhile, Stassi has appeared on both Seasons 2 and 3 of Vanderpump Villa, where she was the MVP. No one can have a meltdown quite like Stassi. In addition, she has more responsibility with her new show, House of Stassi. She previously noted that she is “a little bit in charge” with this series, which features friends, family members, and Vanderpump Rules alums Kristina Kelly and Katie Maloney.
Recently, Stassi opened up about being a mom and struggling to balance her work and family life. “My husband cooks in the house, but if he’s not here, it’s up to me, so I am the DoorDash queen,” Stassi told PEOPLE. “Women everywhere are gonna judge me, but we DoorDash McDonald’s more than I would like to admit.”
While Beau handles the kitchen, Stassi does bath time with her children and gets them up and ready in the morning. “I’m living in a constant state of mom guilt or mom anxiety,” she stated. “There’s not a day that goes by that I’m not like, ‘I could be doing this better, I could be more present.’”
Stassi continued, “It’s a constant struggle for moms everywhere, but then when you’re a working mom, it can get really isolating and lonely, and you’re constantly just doubting yourself.” She has discovered that leaning on other moms, whether venting or sharing ideas, has been helpful. “You know you’re there to hype up the other women, and what is said in those mom chats [is] to stay in those mom chats,” Stassi added.
House of Stassi will premiere on Freeform on July 29. The full season will drop on Hulu the next day.
