Real Housewives of Miami fans were devastated when Bravo announced that the show was being paused. Again. The show was paused after Season 3, and then brought back almost eight years later. Now, Andy Cohen is spilling some tea about RHOM’s future. And after a wild Season 7 and a jaw-dropping reunion, Miami fans are clamoring for a new season.
Andy discusses RHOM pause with Southern Hospitality’s Michols Peña

Of course, Andy caught some flack for RHOM being put on ice. “This was not my decision,” Andy previously explained. “Yes, it is paused, and frankly, I’m happy that people are so passionate about it, and I hope they tell their friends to watch.”
It seems that ratings were RHOM’s downfall. Despite all the drama and iconic moments, it has the lowest ratings of all the housewives franchises. And RHOM star Alexia Nepola called on fans to help get the show back on the air. “The ratings don’t reflect what our popularity is. Please continue to watch and support us because we need that if you want to see us back on TV,” she stated.
Recently, Michols Peña visited Watch What Happens Live. According to Deadline, Michols, who loves RHOM, asked Andy about the show’s fate. “It’ll be back. If it was my decision, it will be going all the time,” Andy stated.
Meanwhile, the Southern Hospitality star reflected on a recent cast trip to the Dominican Republic. The trip was special because his family has roots there. “Just to be able to have a sense of community where being one of the few Hispanic people on Bravo,” Michols told Andy. “Just to be able to share that side of my story – help others to connect. For example, watching Miami because they have a lot of Hispanic cast members was something that I connected with a lot, too.”
Hopefully, we will see Miami back on our screens soon. Fingers crossed!
Real Housewives of Miami streams on Peacock, while Southern Hospitality airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
