Andy Cohen Denies ‘Completely False’ Claims in Leah McSweeney’s Lawsuit

There’s a battle underway at Bravo thanks to Leah McSweeney’s bombshell accusations against Andy Cohen and the network. The former Real Housewives of New York City star accused Bravo of fostering a “rotted workplace culture.” She also claimed that there was a behind-the-scenes conspiracy to get her to relapse into her alcoholism.

More specifically, Leah claimed that Andy offered cocaine to the Housewives and played favorites based on who he partied with. According to Leah, the more you party with Andy, the more favorably they edit your appearance on the show. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Andy has denied any wrongdoing.

Andy denies claims and hits back at Leah

A rep for Andy issued a statement to The Hollywood Reporter and denied all of Leah’s claims. The rep said, “The claims against Andy are completely false.”

Another source added, “It’s outrageous that anyone would make a claim that Andy does cocaine with any Housewives.”

As you know, Leah starred in two seasons of RHONY and then appeared on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which filmed in Thailand. In Leah’s lawsuit, she claimed that the producers kept her from seeking treatment for her alcoholism. In the filing, she said that the producers “violated her rights” by not helping her go to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

Sources close to Bravo said that Leah was in talks to reappear in another iteration of RHUGT, which would have been RHONY: Legacy. Allegedly, those talks happened after she returned from filming in Thailand. Obviously, she didn’t make the cut. Production sources think this whole lawsuit is retaliation for not making the cut on RHONY: Legacy.

“If she was cast in Legacy like she wanted, this wouldn’t be happening,” the source alleged.

Of course, Leah’s lawsuit arrived right on the heels of Brandi Glanville’s legal notice, where she claimed that Andy Facetimed her and bragged about how he wanted to sleep with another female Bravo star. Andy said that the comments were “inappropriate,” but clearly said in “jest.”
