Stunning Bravolebrity Glow Ups: From Kenya Moore to Erika Jayne

When the Real Housewives franchise first started in 2006, we had the best of both worlds, as Hannah Montana would say. There was the unreal drama, which was equaled by the 2000s fashion and makeup. The Y2K aesthetic feels like it happened only yesterday, but the decade made a statement between the teeny tiny handbags, strappy kitten heels, and ultra-low-rise jeans. Naturally, any Bravolebrity worth a dime made sure to have the hottest trends, but sadly, not everyone hit the mark. Thankfully, a few of the network’s stars got a glam squad and gave themselves a major glow-up.

Kenya Moore

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore’s fashion has changed drastically over the years. And even though she should have been miles ahead of the competition thanks to her beauty pageant background, there were times she made some pretty awful choices. In 1993, Kenya was all about the big hair, red lips, and ghost-like makeup. During the early 2000s, Kenya embraced the jeans and heels look, and she often sported a ripped Ed Hardy crop top with it.

But like a fine wine, Kenya aged well, and so did her fashion. Kenya started to wear more flattering dresses and toned down her makeup for a more natural look. The “Gone with the Wind Fabulous,” Kenya never let anyone dictate what she wore and rocked her style with complete confidence. Not one to miss out on making a statement or wearing a statement necklace, Kenya made sure to bring the glam from day one.

John Fuda

Rachel Fuda’s husband, John Fuda, recently opened up about his 50-pound weight loss, which left fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey doing a double take. Once considered an Average Joe, John is now turning heads and is considered one of the better-looking Jersey husbands. It doesn’t hurt that he also stands up to Teresa Giudice. During John’s premiere season, he wore baggy clothes and sweats, but now that John has a Bravolebrity glow-up he is carrying himself a bit differently.

Now, the father of three is wearing bright colors, tailored suits, and fitted T-shirts. John opened up to People about his 14-month transformation, saying, “You’re constantly providing for your family, and you often put yourself last. You lose focus. For me, life took over, and it just got to the point where I realized I let myself go, and I needed to do something to get a handle on it.” Personally, I think this might be my favorite transformation on the list!

Erika Jayne

Not only has Erika Jayne’s voice changed, but so has her look over the last few years. The Pretty Mess singer wasn’t always the glamazon that Bravo fans see now. In 2007, she wore her hair naturally straight with bangs, a far cry from the plethora of extensions that she wears now. Erika’s style was also much simpler and usually included jeans, a fitted shirt, and a blazer. In 2011, she premiered her new look, which included sexier outfits and bright colors. She started to glam up her hair and her face.

Now, the Erika we know today is very much a sex doll, and the S&M look works for her. No shade! The singer embraces a darker eye and eye-catching outfits. For Erika, her fashion is a form of self-expression that always has viewers coming back for more.

Mia Thornton

Our drama-filled Real Housewives of Potomac Bravolebrity, Mia Thornton, has come a long way from dancing at a restaurant for tips. Mia has always owned her cosmetic glow-up procedures, once noting on an episode that she gets “Botox every four weeks” and also receives regular filler injections. Revealing she has “lips, b*obs done, I had a tummy tuck… I had my a** done.” In 2010, Mia started wearing her hair straight and embracing a more dolled-up look. Her latest reunion look showed just how beautiful she can be as she embraced a regal gown for her choice.

Tom Sandoval

Even though Tom Sandoval may not be the number one Bravolebrity guy in the group anymore, he has undergone quite a transformation from Season 1 to Season 11. When Vanderpump Rules fans first met Tom, he wore spiky hair with a make-up-free face. Honestly, the hair spike could have taken out an eye if you weren’t careful. But now, Tom has curated a one-of-a-kind look that includes white nail polish, guyliner, and a look that is all his own. Hate him all you want, but I kind of like his eccentric choices, and to Tom, I say, “Rock on.”
