Madison LeCroy is the Southern Charm diva that we never knew we needed. Kathryn Dennis had no problem serving up drama, especially while she was still involved with Thomas Ravenel. And now that Thomas is gone, Kathryn is left to bicker with Danni Beard. That and to try and defend her poor choices on social media. Slowly, our favorite unpredictable southern belle has been replaced.
Kathryn can be vulnerable and rash. Madison is confident and wily with the opposite sex. Drama follows her, especially when it has to do with her ex-Austen Kroll. Maybe it’s a control mechanism. There’s another pair that are better off not having any contact. Of course, Madison joined the big leagues when she revealed her relationship with Alex Rodriguez at the Season 7 reunion. She denied having any influence on Alex’s subsequent split from Jennifer Lopez, but Madison managed to embroil herself in between one of the most famous couples in America. Bravo Miss LeCroy.
How many times a day do you find yourself wondering whatever became of former Southern Charm star Landon Clements? If your answer is, “zero”, you are 100% in compliance with the rest of the United States population. Landon is gone and pretty much forgotten, but it looks like she’s trying to get someone’s attention.
Like other cast members who
were fired left the series, Landon continues to comment publicly on the show. And sometimes it bites her in the ass. When Thomas Ravenel famously went through some serious allegations relating to his children’s nanny, most people doubted Thomas’ claims of innocense. But Landon isn’t most people and she counted herself as one of Thomas’ defenders. Recently Landon claimed after she sided with T-Rav, Patricia Altschul dumped her on Instagram. I guess it’s easier to say you were dumped for defending an outcast than realizing you were possibly dumped for being a bore.
Kathryn Dennis is back in the news. But, this time it has nothing to do with a battle over her children or sending ignorant texts and not knowing what they mean. Last season, the Southern Charm star faced accusations of racism and falling off the wagon. She has maneuvered numerous allegations during her tenure on the show, but most can be traced back to her own questionable decisions. Kathryn has never walked the path of least resistance, instead heading straight into conflict.
Kathryn’s troubles seemingly started when she decided to have relations with Thomas Ravenel. Thomas has a sketchy past and trouble tends to follow him like a puppy, but Kathryn wasn’t deterred. One child lead to two and a passionate love affair ended amid jealousy and harsh mudslinging. Both parties have moved onto other relationships. And T-Rav even added a new baby into the mix. While Thomas finds himself engaged to his new baby mama, Kathryn is taking steps as well. Chleb Ravenell has been in the picture since the summer 2020. Their union has no signs of slowing down. Recently Kathryn revealed she and Chleb no longer just share a fondness for Fendi, now they share a whole apartment.
It’s the year 2021, and we’re somehow still caught up in the drama between Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel, even though he isn’t even on Southern Charm anymore. Their relationship has been a mess since Season 1, but took an especially dark turn in the past year.
Season 7 kicked off with the two apparently living together, which shocked and confused us all. It seemed like they might try to rekindle their flame for the 500th time until Thomas did was Thomas does, and secretly had a baby with another woman. Since then, the custody battle over their two kids has gotten ugly. Thomas alleged that his son, St. Julien Rembert Ravenel was “formerly diagnosed with FAS due to Kathryn’s excessive drug and alcohol consumption while he was in utero,” according to court papers. He also claims Kathryn, who has publicly struggled with drugs and alcohol, uses cocaine and leaves it accessible to their kids.
Shep Rose has been a mainstay on Southern Charm since the beginning. He’s a womanizer, a party animal, and a bit of a late bloomer.
And now Shep can add author to the list, as he just released his book Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar, about his life, relationships, and his time on the show. I haven’t gotten my hands on a copy yet. However, I’m not exactly dying for life advice from a 40-year-old frat boy who has family money. But at least he knows what it takes to make good TV, unlike Landon Clements.
Throughout the seven seasons of Southern Charm, there have been so many controversies, arguments and scandals that it’s hard to remember them all.
However, there is one villain who may be gone for the show but will never be forgotten — Ashley Jacobs, Thomas Ravenel‘s ex. And Shep Rose is apparently still a little scarred by Ashley’s time on the show, but aren’t we all?
Just like many reality TV stars, Shep Rose has a book coming out. And of course, he dished on his Southern Charm experiences.
Apparently, Shep’s girlfriend Taylor Ann Green wasn’t too pleased to read about his sexual relationship with his-costar Kathryn Dennis.
Southern Charm has gone through quite the evolution in the span of the last few seasons. They’ve entered the modern era and left the good old boy vibes behind. Or at least they’re trying. They’ve also welcomed their first cast member of color, Leva Bonaparte to the cast.
Surprisingly, Leva and Kathryn Dennis ended up hitting it off despite their rocky start to the season. During her racist monkey emoji scandal, Kathryn leaned HEAVILY on Leva to talk her through things. She also got a new image consultant. Let’s see how that turned out!
