The first episode was a pretty easy one for Kandi. Her restaurant is doing well, she didn’t argue with anyone, and she even won the Cynthia Bailey lookalike contest. I’m sure that the lack of drama for Kandi is short-lived though. This is Real Housewives of Atlanta, after all.
Kandi didn’t have too much to dish on from the first episode, but she did share her thoughts in her Bravo blog post. The big news of the episode was Kenya Moore’s surprise marriage. Kandi confessed, “At first I didn’t believe it because I found out through the blogs. After speaking with Kenya and finding out that it was true, I was super excited for her.”
Even though Porsha spent all of last season spreading vicious lies about Kandi, Kandi didn’t seem too fazed to see her at Cynthia’s birthday party. She admitted, “It wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t really talk.” Fair enough. It’s not as if Kandi didn’t know that the entire cast was invited (and most likely contractually obligated) to attend so she wasn’t caught of guard by Porsha’s presence.
Besides, Porsha was too busy arguing with NeNe anyway. Kandi wrote, “I didn’t get why Porsha was trying to make it about three weeks ago when they haven’t been cool in years. That doesn’t make sense. Their friendship was over a long time ago.” It’s just grasping for a story line in all honesty.
TELL US – IS PORSHA JUST LOOKING FOR A STORY LINE BY FIGHTING WITH NENE OR IS SHE GENUINELY OFFENDED BY HER COMMENTS?
