How does that old saying go? The frienemy of my frienemy is my friend. Well, that’s not the actual saying, but it’s definitely applicable when it comes to NeNe Leakes siding with Marlon Wayans after he made a joke about Kim Zolciak’s appearance during the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion.
Marlon posted an unflattering screen shot of Kim with the caption “No we are not in production on White Chicks 2. The f**k?!” That did not sit well with Mrs. Biermann, but obviously NeNe thought it was hilarious.
People quoted NeNe chiming in on the now-infamous Instagram post during her Thursday appearance on The Talk. NeNe admitted, “She really looks like that, really she does.”
In all honesty, I doubt that this Instagram post would be getting so much attention if Kim didn’t comment on it publicly… several times. But now it is just another excuse for NeNe to insult her frienemy. NeNe defended Marlon when she said, “And he is a comedian and you know, he does get a pass.”
NeNe added, “And besides that, Kim talks about everybody very negatively and then as soon as somebody light her up, she’s like, ‘Oh my god, that was so mean.’” Which is a #TotalRealHousewifeMove if I’ve ever seen one. NeNe maintained, “Girl, if you’re going to dish it, be able to take it.” Fair enough.
