Abby Lee Miller

Abby Lee Miller

The Dance Moms viewers are well-aware that Abby Lee Miller has never been shy when it comes to sharing her complaints. Unfortunately it seems like her larger than life reputation might have played against her during her prison stint.

Abby insisted that there was something seriously wrong with her while she was behind the bars, but no one took her complaints seriously. Now that she is out of jail she has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Dance Moms recap

Former Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller went to jail last July after getting indicted on 20 counts of fraud and hiding her income. Since then, she has shared updates on her prison life including her weight loss and her desire to teach dance again.

Then there was buzz that Abby would get released early and now she’s one step closer to terrorizing aspiring dancers in the studio.

Abby Lee Miller Will Be Released From Prison This May

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to a year long prison stint back in May 2017. The reality star was indicted for concealment of bankruptcy assets and bankruptcy fraud in 2015 and she started her time behind bars in July 2017.

Dance students beware, Abby is getting out earlier than expected.

Abby Lee Miller Is Not Getting Out Of Prison As Early As She Expected

Originally, Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to a year and one day in federal prison in July 2017 after she was convicted of bankruptcy fraud.

She was supposed to get released early on February 20, but that did not end up happening and now there’s no word on when she will be back in the dance studio screaming at her students.

Abby Lee Miller

It would be a fair assessment to say that Abby Lee Miller has had a rough few years (not that I’m giving her a pass for her horrific behavior over the last decade!), but hopefully things are looking up for the Dance Moms star. We watched as she had some major meltdowns on the show (to be fair, the “ladies” she was dealing with were also the worst!), and her latest residence was less ALDC and more Orange is the New Black.

Thankfully for Abby, her time in the clink is drawing to a close. She will be released to a halfway house on February 20 after receiving a reduction in her sentence due to good behavior. Not surprisingly, the controversial reality star has some big plans for her post-prison life, including a tell-all book, some plastic surgery, and hopefully (her hope, not mine) another show on television. Lifetime, are you listening?

Abby Lee Miller‘s reign of terror is about to be unleashed on the masses once again! Abby has managed to secure early release and is getting out of prison after serving just half her time!

The former Dance Moms star was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for bankruptcy fraud, but will be released on February 20th following only six months of incarceration. Abby has been in a California women’s penitentiary, and upon release will transition to a halfway house in Van Nuys for the unknown duration.

Abby Lee Miller Is Sharing Her Thoughts From Prison On Social Media; Misses Teaching Dance & Is “Bored”

I’m not exactly sure about the logistics, but Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has been sharing her thoughts from prison via Instagram. I have to assume that someone from the outside is doing the actual posting, but it’s still a pretty unusual thing to do. Now I’m just waiting for her to promote one of those monthly beauty boxes from her jail cell.

Anyone who watches the Lifetime reality show isn’t surprised that Abby has voiced a few complaints, but what was she expecting this experience to be like? She’s at prison, not a day spa.

Dance Moms Finale Recap: Witches And Bit

On last night’s two hour finale of Dance Moms, Cheryl Burke stays true to her word and returns to coach the Irreplaceables to victory. However, Jill and Kendall have gone out of town so Cheryl insists on bringing in a fifth dancer for the “Coven” group routine. She jokes that the girls will be witches while the mothers are bitches. Truth! This news causes the mothers to bristle. Who will the new girl be? Will she get a solo? What does this mean for their girls? Cheryl quickly shows them the door. Let her do her job, people!

Of course, the moms are less than thrilled when dancer Reagan arrives with her mother Julie. Reagan has competed against the girls, and the mothers don’t welcome Julie with open arms. Julie wants her daughter to have a solo given that she’s been excommunicated from all her teams for all the hopping around. Julie tries to make awkward jokes as Holly, Christi, and Camille become increasingly peeved at the attention Reagan is receiving. When she is granted a solo alongside Camryn and Kalani, the mothers go ballistic.
