After what feels like five bajillion years, Bethenny Frankel‘s divorce is finalized! Jason Hoppy‘s attorney confirmed that the final divorce settlement had been signed, sealed and delivered today.
Jason’s attorney shared, “Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached. Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter.”
On her radio show, B Real With Bethenny, she admitted that she’s been crying a lot this week and her emotions are raw. “I’ve had an emotional week this week. I’ve been crying more than last season on Housewives, which I dubbed the crying game. I’ve been going through a gnarly, nasty divorce that has been going on for almost four years. And there are certain things that you think of or that kind of remind you of what you’ve been going through.”
It was reported back in September that Bethenny had already signed on for season 8, but she now makes it official: “Yes. I am back [this season], and it is spicy. You know last year, I had my ‘new car smell’ still on me. And I wasn’t getting into too much trouble. This season, I am knee-deep in the mud.”
The Real Housewives of New York City’sresident razor-tongued go-getter, Bethenny Frankelopened up this week about the never-ending saga of her tempestuous pending divorce toJason Hoppy. The ‘skinny gal’ reveals how she is pretty content with her life as is, despite the occasional bricks that are flung her way. In her usual matter-of-fact way of seeing things, Bethenny states, “Life is roses, it’s got petals and it’s got thorns,” and that through it all, she still manages to get out of bed each morning with a purpose.
The gritty multimillionaire reality star discussed how her divorce has been such a toxic experience for her, she likened it to “a drop of poison in the ocean.” Bethenny went on to explain her uncompromisingly direct statement. “Am I feeling it? No. But it’s there. I mean, it doesn’t weigh down on me every minute of the day, it’ll flair up sometimes, like when people have arthritis or something, but it’s there. It’s chronic. It’s not that emotionally draining, it does come up at times; you have to really just be very zen about it. You have to just say, ‘This is all supposed to be happening, it makes me stronger.”
Bethenny Frankel was a guest on The Steve Harvey Show yesterday and ironically she played Love Doctor. Dealing with the dramatic love lives of her Real Housewives Of New York co-stars obviously prepared her well! “I’ve learned more from my mistakes than from my successes,” explained the author of I Suck At Relationships So You Don’t Have To as she helped two couples deal with crisis.
Bethenny didn’t dish on any Housewives gossip, or discuss her own romantic involvements, but she did drop a few hints about how she feels about love, marriage, and men. “I’m really happy right now. Or at least I’m going to be happy forever,” she admitted. Which seemed to be a thinly veiled jab at splitting from Jason Hoppy. Bethenny is rumored to be dating CNBC financial expert Marcus Lemonis.
Below, some advice from Bethenny on how to handle stagnant and noncommittal men!
Bethenny Frankel has made no secret that her love life is heating up. While she’s played coy about who the lucky gentleman callers are, she stated she’s not interested in dating fame-seekers or men with Facebook profiles. What about men with their own TV shows?
According to reports Bethenny is getting hot and heavy with CNBC anchor Marcus Lemonis, host of The Profit. Bethenny and Marcus reportedly connected and have a lot in common through their shared interests in business. The Real Housewives Of New York star has been motivated to date a man who is financially stable and has his own career, so from that perspective Marcus seems perfect.
Sources say Bethenny and Eric have been “quietly” dating for a couple months and are enjoying each other’s company “casually.” They have mutual friends and travel in similar social circles, so they’re “seeing where it goes” before making anything public.
