Bethenny Frankel is upping the ante as far as guests on her talk show goes. She's graduated from her recent parade of Bravolebrities to the one woman who we have to thank for putting her on the air–Ellen DeGeneres. "Thank" may not be the word you would use, but as far as I'm concerned, Ellen can do no wrong. And who knows, maybe this is just another lesson in random acts of kindness courtesy of Ellen.
When Ellen appeared via satellite (is that what they still call it?) on bethenny yesterday, Bethenny introduced her by saying, "I am so excited and honored to tell you who my first guest is today. It's a woman who I trust, who I admire, who I love, who I respect. She's the most talented women on the planet in my book and she's the reason that I have a show today. I am so grateful to her, for this opportunity. Please welcome my friend and mentor Ellen DeGeneres."
My friends and I like to play a game we call Lifetime Movie. No, we're not planning on rocking back and forth in a shower crying about a relationship gone sour; instead, we try to figure out which star would play us in a movie about our life. It's fun, and I recommend it to anyone who's bored!
In the movie of my life, I'd hope that Ellen DeGeneres could take time out of her busy schedule to play me, but I'd understand if she had other obligations. However, I'm happy to learn that my friends and I aren't the only ones who like to think of our lives as a watch-worthy show. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville also likes to imagine her life played out on the screen.
Just because Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show is ending doesn't mean that the show's executive producer will be out of a job. That's good news, right? Really though, the million dollar question is: who would you rather work for–Anderson or Bethenny Frankel? Hmmm. Tough call!
As the old saying goes, when one door closes, another door opens, and such is the case for Anderson Live producer Terrance Noonan. As Anderson's two season stint draws to a close, the Bethenny Ever After star is poised to take his fans…and his producer! At least Telepictures is keeping it in the production family, so to speak!
Did any of you check out the Neenster withEllen DeGeneresyesterday? Girlfriend is all over the place these days! That's right, the one-lining, sitcom/reality star/"Close your legs to married men, WIG!"NeNe Leakeswas on Ellen to talk about her shows The New Normal and Real Housewives of Atlanta…and of course her recent engagement to ex-husband Gregg Leakes.
While she was there, the former stripper got a little taste of her own medicine as an engagement present from Ellen. Wow, NeNe has certainly be surrounded by the exotic dancers this week, hasn't she? Wasn't she just hosting the opening of West Hollywood's Cake Factory Strip Club?
Stop the presses and pour me a Skinnygirl margarita! On second thought, don't…I prefer my cocktails to taste good and go straight to my hips.
I have some wonderful news that will excite the masses. Whether you're a diehard Bethenneedy fan, a Bethennybody-else-but-her hater, or a passive and neutral Frankel, my dear, I don't give a damn, you are going to like what I have to say! Well, that third group probably couldn't care less, but the others–oh, the others!–will be thrilled! P.S. I'm working on a trademark for my newly coined phrases, so use at your own risk. TM, Ms. Frankel, TM!
Anyhoo, can you guess who this post is about? Anyone? Real Housewives of New York veteran and purveyor of Hoppylicious spin-offs and diet liquor concoctions Bethenny Frankel made an announcement earlier Monday on her website. The post was aptly titled "My Big Announcement." You have to give her credit, Bethenny always has been a straight shooter!
Despite earlier reports which stated her talk show deal had died the Bethenny Ever After star will be gracing our televisions during the daytime with her own talk show this summer!
Bethenny, 41, made the shocking announcement today on her website. “I have exciting news for you guys! The queen of too much information is coming to DAYTIME! It is going to be an exciting journey and I can’t wait for you to join me,” wrote Bethenny.
She continued, “Thanks for being so loyal and supportive, without you, this wouldn’t be happening. See you all this summer on Fox!”
But before you get too excited, it seems Bethenny’s show will only be coming to a select number of FOX stations. According to a press release, “Select Fox Television Stations — including WNYW New York and KTTV Los Angeles — will run the show in a six-week test.”
So did the earlier reports get it wrong? Well, not exactly. See Warner Bros. did indeed pass on Bethenny’s show, which led to the FOX network picking it up for a test run this summer. Both Bethenny and Ellen DeGeneres will serve as executive producers on the show.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Telepictures, Ellen DeGeneres and Fox in doing what I believe is the next best step in my life and my career,” said Bethenny in today’s statement. “My passion is connecting to, inspiring and being inspired by my fans. I’m ready for the challenge of this new adventure, and I’m going to tackle it like I do everything else in my life. The queen of too much information is coming to daytime.”
This news would also explain why Bethenny will reportedly end her Bravo reality show — which is set to debut February 20 — after its upcoming season.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON BETHENNY GETTING HER OWN TALK SHOW? WILL YOU BE TUNING IN?
Does anyone remember that tragic story of the time Bethenny Frankel was lost at sea for a harrowing 21-hours and had to be rescued by the Coast Guard and towed to shore? Yeah, well apparently that was all staged for the upcoming season of Bethenny Ever After. Oops!
Unfortunately Bethenny forgot there is this thing called public record where the Coast Guard is concerned and she also forgot that sometimes when you slander people to the media they might retaliate with their own version of the events. And that version might be a little more credible…
In a new interview with Jewish Journal, Tim Russell, the towboat operator who “rescued” Team Frankel is speaking out and basically dismissing Bethenny’s version of events as “not true!”
It all started during Bethenny’s appearance The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week. During her sit down with Ellen, Bethenny recounted the tale of her day at sea, including claiming she gave Tim Russell a $2,800 tip for safely returning her to shore! When Ellen tricked Bethenny by claiming Tim was backstage during the show, Bethenny’s face drastically changed!
That interview prompted Tim, who has 40-years sea experience, to speak out about what really happened! Tim explains it was actually Bethenny’s therapist, Xavier Amador who was also captaining the boat and has 30-years of sailing experience himself, that called him around 5am requesting assistance. The therapist was able to give Mr Russell “his exact coordinates, which he read off of the GPS system!” The GPS that was allegedly broken?!
Tim recounts that the therapist “did call the Coast Guard, and the USCG suggested he call a tow company because there was no danger.” After telling the therapist his rate for the tow and learning that the boat was fine, Tim “he explained they did not need him and could come in on their own as the boat was fully functioning.” But Bethenny’s therapist “insisted they needed help.” Tim explains he “thought it was bizarre and did not know what was going on, but did not want to ignore the call incase there was an issue,” so he headed out with his wife to check out the situation.
When he arrived the boat was completely fine and there were nine people on board: Bethenny, Jason Hoppy, her therapist, and a film crew of six people! Bethenny’s boat “simply followed Tim and his wife back to the shore with no towing and a functioning GPS,” Tim maintains.
Upon arriving at the dock, Tim observed that “Bethenny got out of the boat and kissed the dock, but only after the crew got out of the boat to get the shot,” which is when he realized it was a set-up for her reality show. Tim insists he had no idea what was going on or who Bethenny was, until her therapist informed him Bethenny is a “television star and just sold her company for $120 million dollars.”
And now about that supposed tip – Tim says it never happened, despite what Bethenny shared on Ellen’s show! He is adamant he never went to the press to complain about Bethenny and after hearing her in the press and on Ellen he wanted to “make the point that Bethenny was not honest,” and that is why he spoke to a reporter. He also felt her untrue statements put his livelihood at risk. Tim believes “it was all for show when she went on Ellen and started to lie about him.” Yikes!
The U.S. Coast Guard also confirms that Bethenny was not rescued by their outlet, with a spokesman explaining: “the captain of Frankel’s boat did initially contact the Coast Guard, but, because the situation was not “life-threatening,” the skipper was given the phone numbers of local “salvaging” outfits that could help get them back to shore.”
Bethenny has yet to comment on this latest scheme, but I’m sure her official statement is coming soon! I mean she’s made a career of shooting her mouth off! A photo of Bethenny and her crew on the dock prior to getting “lost at sea” is below.

So what is your take on the incident? Do you think Bethenny is being truthful or is Tim Russell seeking his 15 minutes? Do you believe Bethenny would go to such lengths for her reality show?
UPDATE – Bethenny made the following tweets moments ago -
“I will ALWAYS be honest with my fans. I know you know that!”
“Let’s review last week’s idiocies 1)I have a”nice”coach 2)I’m getting divorced 3)I’m pregnant 4)I lied re:being lost at sea Anything else?”
Newlyweds/non-famewhores Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are already renewing their wedding vows despite being married for only a month-and-a-half!
The made for TV vow renewal for theKeeping Up With The Kardashiansstars was all courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres! On a pre-taped episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show (scheduled to air today), Kimmie, 30, and her NBA hubby Kris, 26, were candid with Ellen about their newlywed life and what they’d do differently about their Aug. 20 wedding.
“[I'd] elope,” said Kimmie Kakes. “I would say [have a] longer after-party, but I was so crazy for an entire month…I literally went crazy. It was so stressful,” she added of the wedding which she planned with the help of pimpmomager Kris Jenner in only a few months.
Kris also shared his regret, echoing Kimmie’s statement by stating he would have wanted “a longer after party.”
The two are currently doing a ton of press in other to promote their E! Wedding Special — Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event which is set to air this Sunday on E! at 8 p.m. ET.
In other Kardashian news, Khloe Kardashian, who co-hosted the fourth hour of the Today Show on Monday, opened up about her fertility struggles.
Khloe, who’s been married to NBA hubbyLamar Odom for over 2 years now (yes it’s been 2 years already), has always been vocal about wanting kids right away. However, that has yet to happen for Khloe.
“We would love to have kids,” said Khloe, 27. “It’s so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time you have to get pregnant. I never knew about that. No one ever taught me that. When you have schedules such as ours, it’s really hard to hit that mark. So it’s frustrating, but definitely, I want to have kids. It’s scary [thinking], ‘Oh God, what if I physically can’t have kids?’”
The Kardashians continue their take over of the Today Show this week as Kris Jenner will co-host today, Kourtney Kardashian will co-host tomorrow, and Kimmie Kakes will finish off by co-hosting on Friday.
