I haven’t seen the viewer numbers for last night’s MTV VMAs yet, but I wonder if it’s down by a lot compared to last year, since some genius decided to put it on the same night as the Game of Thrones season finale! Because of that, I skipped the VMAs for the first time in years, but priorities. Game of Thrones even trumped reality TV viewing last night. #sorrynotsorry
Anywhoodle. Here’s a few snaps of the few reality stars who showed up for the big night in L.A. Mostly Teen Mom stars, like Jenelle Evans, Gary Shirley, Leah Messer, Amber Portwood (and her new guy) and Farrah Abraham, who brought along daughter Sophia. Check out the photos below (including Nev Schulman, Christina Milian and more) and tell us which you look you like the best.
Did you watch the show last night? Did I miss anything good?
Brandi begins by gushing that Amber is a “gangsta!” and marvels that she’s been on TV for a decade yet still stays “relatable.” Amber takes issues with the word relatable, because most people do not have a “telescope” on their deeply personal issues. Amber explains that she spends so much time filming ‘on the couch’ because, “I don’t feel comfortable going out into a public place and talking about … cause in my life some issues I feel are very personal. For other people to just be listening or eavesdropping, it makes me uncomfortable and I’ll shut myself [down]. I want to be truthful.”
MTV released the Teen Mom season 6 trailer yesterday.
This season on Teen Mom OG, Farrah Abrahamgets over herself continues to be her same insufferable self, with her fangs in focus on on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran. <eye roll> We all know they’re just using each other – having a “boyfriend” by her side, at events and on the show, makes her appear somewhat human and being on camera outweighs dealing with Farrah and her mini-me, Sophia, for Simon.
While some reality TV stars make a huge production out of going to church on Easter <cough-Jenners-cough-Kardashians-cough> for the paps, others enjoy quality time with family. Of course, they are still reality stars, so they share pics on social media. Here is a roundup of our favorite pictures from the weekend.
Above: Kim Richards shared, “Happy Easter from our family to yours! Missing our Kimberly today! Hurry home little one!”
This time, Farrah was called a momager, which has a negative connotation, for “making” Sophia “work” New York Fashion Week. Here’s the thing, the outrage is based on assumption, as no one, but Farrah and Sophia, really knows if Farrah forced the fashion show on Sophia. Speaking to Us at the show, Farrah insisted that wasn’t the case, “If my daughter says she doesn’t like something, I don’t do it. It’s up to Sophia.”
If you haven’t found the perfect gift for your sweetie (or the ex who dumped you and whose Valentine’s Day you would like to ruin), reality stars have a plethora of fabulous (cough cough) products for you to chose from. Or perhaps a little post-Valentine’s Day love is in order and you want to surprise your special someone on a random day of the year.
Hey – love is in the air all the time, right?!
Below is our list of the best Valentine’s Day gifts from your favorite reality star!
Teen Mom OGstarsAmber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham, and Maci Bookout were in L.A. last weekend to film the season 5B reunion. Of course, because there’s nothing simple about the Teen Mom franchise, they brought a hodgepodge of kids, parents, significant others, ex-significant others, and ex-significant others’ significant others. #FlowChartsAvailabeUponRequest
According to The Ashley, there was no drama (We are looking at you, Farrah!) behind the scenes. “Farrah was pretty mellow behind the scenes,” a source shared. “She actually was talking to Gary Shirley [whom she has feuded with in the past] and his wife Kristina. They were getting along well. Farrah and Amber were hanging out too. They used to hate each other but at this point Amber just doesn’t care what Farrah does. She just wants to avoid drama.” However, on stage, an audience member reported that Farrah’s segment was super intense.
