When asked why they agreed to do Teen Mom again, Maci shared, “I felt like I was such a different person when the show last aired. I’ve really grown up, and not just because I have a kid and responsibilities, but mentally and emotionally. I thought it would be cool to show how different we are and how far we’ve come in the past two or three years since we’ve been off the air. Also, to show people that just because the show went off, it doesn’t get any easier. When you’re teen parents, it’s hard forever. The struggles don’t go away; they’re just different.”
Teen Mom, now catchily called “Teen Mom OG,” is back! After an initial casting snafu – all the original members will be returning! That’s right Farrah Abraham‘s full-voltage delusion will return on a weekly basis starting March 23rd. I cannot wait!
What’s Maci Bookout doing? Your guess is as good as mine. I honestly don’t pay any attention to the spoiled party girl. I’m sure the IRS is, though, now that she’s got a big pay day coming.
Amber also has a new book, Never Too Late, to promote. In a recent interview, she talked about sharing her story, inviting cameras back into her life, opening her own rehab centers, reconnecting with Leah, and more.
But part of me is beginning to wonder if Farrah told MTV that she didn’t want to participate because filming Teen Mom would require – GASP! – spending time with her child. If you will recall, Sophia is living her own life, and Farrah is busy promoting her sex toys, opening a restaurant, pretending to write fiction books, gearing up for her first movie role, and working as a stripper. Where would she find the time to play mom for the cameras?
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here's a roundup of some of our favorite family photos from the past few weeks.
Nick Cannon shared the above picture of his cuties Rocky and Monroe.
If you'll recall, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood have refused to move forward with Teen Mom with Farrah in tow. They allegedly do not want their kids to share airtime with a porn star hawking sex toys. I do NOT blame them – but there is no show withoutFarrah. IMO. Farrah's special brand of narcissistic crazy makes great TV.
According to Us, MTV exes "willingly cut" Farrah out of the negotiations due to her co-stars' concerns. "MTV agreed," claimed an inside source. "They feel she set a bad example and doesn't represent the network well."
